This place right across from Roman Empire Panglao Boutique Resort. Ask for The “Kimchi” was the BEST in its class!!! I have tried many versions! Homemade and smothered with spice and paste, just the way it should be! I even took some to go! It’s not on the menu so ask for it! This stuff needs to bottled and in every store! Make sure to get the spicy tuna tartar and special California Maki Roll with dynamite flavors bursting in my palate! Stop here on your way to or from Panglao! We went here with friends last Tuesday. We didn’t have reservations and we were accommodated with no problem.

The staff were approachable. They greeted us with a smile 😊.

We ordered their Ramen, Bento and Chicken Katsu Curry and California Maki and Sashimi. The sashimi was soft and well prepared and it melts in your mouth. The maki was also good! It was juicy, with a hint of crispness and softness when you bite it in your mouth. The ramen broth was exquisite, it was flavourful, and the noodles were cooked right. Not soggy at all. The bento was also great and the chicken katsu curry, the sauce was good mixed with potato. The chicken was well cooked as well.

Had a great dining experience at Aji Restaurant! The food was really good – flavorful, well-prepared, and served fresh. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the visit even more enjoyable.

I liked that they offer both indoor and outdoor dining options, and the indoor area is air-conditioned, which is a big plus, especially on hot days. The place is okay overall, but I think the interior and exterior could use a bit of an upgrade to match the quality of the food and service.
