This would have been 4.5 if not for the location. See details below under Ambience.
Food Selection authentic Korean dishes we were pleasantly surprised that the serving sizes were very generous = servers said that the serving was good for 2 people, but it could be good for 3 & even 4 people with average appetite, especially if ordering more than 1 dish = the pictures of the dishes on the menu, looked smaller than the actual serving size (which is good); so best to order one dish at a time to avoid ordering too much at once the menu indicates the spiciness levels of the dishes, which was surprisingly accurate per our respective spiciness tolerance (very helpful) we particularly love the ramen and beef stew = the ramen was not salty, it had flavors that made it delicious = as expected, the meat was tender
Service walk-in (no reservation) at first we thought the place was closed for the night, as there was no one at the reception; when we peeked inside, the Korean manager saw us and welcomed us; he was professional enough to apologize to have kept us waiting our servers were very helpful in explaining to us each of the dishes we wanted to order while we would need to get the attention of the servers, the servers responded promptly and they were very friendly they initially provided chopsticks, but spoon, fork, and knives can be requested
Ambience when we went, there weren't too many patrons; the other patrons seemed to be foreigners had the place been filled with customers, the place would seem crowded and will be quite noisy, especially given the layout with smaller spaces in between tables (we could hear conversations of the guests 2 to 3 tables away from us) lighting is on the "subdued" end, but bright enough to see the colorful dishes (though, personally I would prefer brighter lighting so I can see better) they have a TV that plays Korean shows (given the layout, some guests do not have a good view of the TV screen); we couldn't hear the sounds, but given the English subtitles, we managed it was just a bit difficult to find the restaurant (may be a reason why there were not as many patrons as we had been expecting) we had to walk through corridors that seemed to be filled with cigarette smoke coming from the casino area
Wish List we just wish we could go to the place without walking through the corridors filled with cigarette smoke Okada may want to use better air filters to filter out the cigarette smoke, especially in non-smoking areas; especially considering that 2nd hand smoke is as deadly - if not deadlier - to non-smokers it may be better if all the restaurants are along the main corridor of Okada so that diners can more easily find them
Pricing pricing is quite reasonable given the large servings & delicious dishes parking at Okada was free during our visit

Read moreon entry the hostess said she could only sit us at a table of 8---we were a party of 3 with our son and she led me to believe we would be joining another group. this is the most common set up in the restaurant while only have a few tables of four available. when i replied i did not want to be with another group she clearly misunderstood and then ignored me and started to ask my wife in tagalog if it was ok we have a table of 8. We entered dining room and there were 3 tables of 4 empty but not cleared yet Completely rude.. Ignore the person she was talking to and then start conversation with someone else. This in fact happened again in the restaurant while the ordering process was going on with our female server. I realize that english might be a second language here but to ignore that person and then change languages and talk to someone else is something that should never happen We ordered drinks and food arrived before before our cocktails. Female server came by to say they were out of coconut cream for pina colada... Missing coconut in the Philippines seems almost impossible? I then responded we would just have two of the same.... More food came to the table and still no starter cocktails. Lady server came back again just to confirm we still wanted one or two cocktails... OMG! The sides were limited(banchan) and our soy or hot sauce were never refilled... The meats were just so so with some being tough including the marinated chicken. Would not repeat or recommend.... A shining star in for the night was a server named Patrick who had some serving skills and finesse. The female server and hostess is very misplaced in a five star hotel and needs coaching on drink etiquette and to actually answer the customer and not change conversation and start discussion with someone else. Date of visit was Jan...

The GOOD: As others have mentioned, the place is really wide, cozy, comfy, and of course, being in Okada, has a sense of luxury and upscale interiors and equipment.
Quality of meat was obvious, good thick cuts freshly prepared, and served unfrozen.
Steamed egg was nice but I did bite into eggshell pieces so that wasn't fun. The noodles that they served, kinda resembiling pancit canton to be honest, was quite tasty!
Grill has no exhaust fans overhead so that helps but be careful as flames can suddenly erupt. We've had a few screams and jumpscares because of those.
Staff were very smiley and attentive. Our server Mara was more than gracious and helpful and on top of things. Maitre d' greeted us with a wide smile.
I appreciate the crayons and the coloring paper that they gave my toddlers.
Improvements that can be done: Banchan was limited. Kimchi was really good though. Php400 for Mango shake. Refills of meat were always just a pork belly and beef slices. Not much taste difference there. Soup wasn't hot at all. 2 dipping sauces in 2 small saucers.
At the end of the day, I'd still go back as the ambience together with the food taste satisfied me. But like the other reviewers have mentioned, there are still lots of room for improvement for this restaurant.
Notes: If you are going with kids, be prepared for quite the walk as kids cannot enter the Casino grounds and you have to circumnavigate the property very properly to get to Goryeo from the parking. Quite a really long walk if you get lost and if it...
