The Kitchen by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf — Restaurant in Parañaque

Was feeling like a western style breakfast and saw the menu had many options so decided to dine in. Ordered eggs Benedict and breakfast burger. Eggs Benedict came out looked great but was cold and genuinely no flavour AT ALL, the bread, ham and eggs had 0 flavour or seasonings, it was actually absurd, I have never had anything like it. I literally thought I was eating pure texture with no taste. Once I finished my meal, about 20 minutes after, my partners meal came out, timing is crazy! Waitress said “your order is complete”, yes we are aware after waiting and waiting, she did not apologise at all. The breakfast burger meal was the same ice cold, breakfast burger had no taste either. I have never been served one meal in a restaurant about 20 minutes apart. That is just a pure lack of service especially if not busy. The only positive were the drinks which were great. DO NOT VISIT unless you have plenty of patience! Its a shame to even call this a coffee bean franchise. It took us nearly 3 hours from 8pm to 11pm to get our dinner orders completed last night as we decided to dine in. The staff would rather chit chat and stand doing nothing instead of attending to our orders and needs. We were a pax of 6 yet only gave out 3 plates. COMMON SENSE, It didn't seem like the waitresses cared about our orders and I think the branch manager needs to get fired for not putting in more staff during peak season. Most items on the "menu" WERE NOT AVAILABLE. SO WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU TRYING TO SELL IF YOU CALL YOURSELF A CAFE AND RESTAURANT?! 3 hours just for dinner?! WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY for mediocre food. Better close shop if you can't live up to the reputation as I am a regular CBTL...

Feb 2024: We loved their All Day Breakfast and other menu items. If you are checked in at Okada Manila, this is a good alternative to the usual breakfast at Medley Buffet😊
