Zhenbao Hotpot 珍宝火锅 | Ayala Malls Manila Bay — Restaurant in Parañaque

We went to this restaurant last week and I'm here to warn others to never use their Credit Card when making transactions here! My friend's credit card was used in online telecom related purchases after swiping her card to their terminal, and it was the only place she used her card within the week so she's pretty certain it was hacked from this restaurant. She was able to cancel the purchases by calling her card issuer in time, thankfully.

This is the second time we went here, and we noticed the change in the product quality, the beef no longer taste sweet and premium which we had on the first visit.

Anyway, even worse, recently we've heard of another story of credit card being fraudulently used after being swiped in a certain Samgyupsal restaurant in Ayala Malls Manila Bay as well. We don't want to be part of the next fraud story so we no longer want to eat at this restaurant.

We were interested to dine here because they allow pets inside, but unfortunately that was the best part that this restaurant offers.

When it comes to the food selection, it honestly fell short. There weren't a lot of options available for the price that you pay. The condiment section is at the far back of the restaurant. Other food offers were not refilled fast. I even saw one staff refilled the fruits, but she got a piece and ate if right after. (sanitation and professionalism whomstve LOL). The atmosphere of the restaurant is also not satisfactory. The restaurant was not lit well, some areas had no light, and it was hot! There are portable fans around the restaurant.

Honestly was so disappointed with this hotpot restaurant. I know there are still other branches, but I'm discouraged to try because I don't want to be disappointed the second...

We ate at Zhenbao Hotpot and the experience was disappointing.

Food was okay, but the service was terrible. We had to follow up multiple times for our meat order, and when we did, the staff shouted “follow up daw sa order nito” across the room, referring to us. Very unprofessional.

There was also a small cockroach at the sauce bar, and the place was poorly lit, which made the ambience uninviting.

Not sure if it’s because we booked through Eatigo for a 10% discount, but service and cleanliness should be consistent regardless. Definitely not...
