We just had our wedding event in Henry Hotel Manila, the Food & event is managed by Apartment 1B.
Inclusions: Venue use for 4 hours Basic Table Set-Up Basic Speaker and Microphone 10 parking slots (subject to availability) Tables and Chairs for 60pax (Lawn/Garden Venue) Custom menu arrangement Food tasting for 2 for the menu chosen
Food - 10/10!! Our guests really enjoyed the food and gave us great feedback! We actually liked what was served at the event even more than the food tasting. The servings were generous, and we were able to take home some of the leftover food from the buffet. :)
Communication - 6/10 We struggled with communication. There was a lack of proactiveness; we often had to ask the right questions ourselves in order to fully leverage the services they could provide.
e.g. Tables & Chairs - We weren't informed initially that they could check and borrow from their other branches to meet the 100-pax requirement. They only mentioned a 60-pax inclusion, and as a result, we sought an outside supplier to fill the gap. Had this option been communicated earlier, we could have explored it before turning to external suppliers.
Basic Table Set-up - We wish we were informed about the inclusions at earlier planning (table napkins, charger plates, utensils, centerpieces) and were shown examples of previous setups. This would have helped us plan better and estimate the styling upgrade we wanted to add.
Parking - We only found out later in the planning that Henry Hotel and Apartment 1B each include 10 parking slots, for a total of 20. We had been worried about parking, so we wish this had been clarified with us earlier.
We hope they can improve by creating a checklist of commonly asked questions to better share their experience and the services they offer. This would be especially helpful in guiding first-time event planners.
Establishing partnerships with suppliers who offer exclusive discounts would be a valuable asset, enhancing support for event planners and optimizing the overall experience. (Could be for Lights & Sounds, Stringlights, Tent, Aircoolers, Florists, etc)
Overall, we sincerely thank Apartment 1B for their role in making our event a success. We appreciate the support and effort they put into bringing everything together, and we're grateful for their assistance throughout the planning and execution. Their contribution was an important part of the...

Apartment 1B is faithful to the modern rustic interiors of the hotel. There is a combination of new furniture style and vintage elements. Restaurant is at the left side of the lobby. We are greeted by the admirable staff. The flooring is a patchwork of machuca tiles.
Went for a continental brunch starting off with a piece of eggs benedict consisting of canadian ham and spinach for P130. Presentation is commendable. Gobbled the US Angus Beef Burger (P480). It is made with wheat bun and on the side are thick cut fries. I find the burger patty is a little dry. For dessert, I chose the frozen turtle pie. It’s supposedly a pecan pie in cookie crust. I was expecting a lot from it, but to me it was like an ordinary vanilla ice cream cake with pecan on top and not much of a turtle pie.
Having Apartment 1B at the hotel is a great option but it could also be a good detail to incorporate heirloom recipes for Henry...
Read moreDefinitely on my list of must-try restaurants around the metro, if you’re looking for a relaxed and nature-friendly place with high-quality comfort food you’d want to dig right into.
Food was really good, the price is reasonable for the amount of serving. We ordered pork chop, truffle pasta, bolognese pasta, caesar salad, herb crusted salmon and samosa (highly recommended!!)
To be honest, I’d want to review the place more than the food itself (considering the dishes were excellent, as expected). The restaurant is located in a compound together with the hotel. Im quite surprised that such patch of greenery exist in Harrison Pasay. The lush and vibrant surroundings are remarkably breathtaking and would make you think you’re not in Manila.
I would have celebrated many family gatherings and special events here, had i known such wonderful place has been existing...
