Sogo pasay — Hotel in Pasay

Pros: +Place is very affordable. +can checkin anytime. they offer ranges of stay from a couple of hours to 24-HR stay, and can even extend it hourly for 200+ php. Not unlike usual hotels that require people to checkin at 2pm and mandatory checkout at 12nn the next day. +They serve food to your room. Menu is provided in every rooms. They even serve alcoholic drinks. +discounts provided to rooms and food if you have discount card. +water flow is strong. Warm and cold water provided in bathroom. +they follow strict protocol with people coming in and out of the hotel for security purposes. +they also offer ride to any point of the country, depending on how much you want to haggle with the driver.

Cons: -Some rooms look and smell old. -The hallway sometimes smell cigarette smoke, (they should ban smoking inside the hotel). -Some rooms are not well cleaned. Trash or mess hidden by previous customers can still be found somewhere. (pack of cigarettes from behind tv, some stained/used tissue from tissue dispenser) -they provide only 1 thin sheet of linen (kumot), nearly not enough for 2 persons -Saw a rat zooming in and hiding in our room when we are almost about...

Poor service! I want to book for 2 days and they said 1 day only allowed because the next day it’s week end and the price is higher compare to regular day. Fine… I’ve got the room with 2 beds. I called for blanket 2 times that night because the other bed no blanket at all because early morning already and we are very tired so we just sleept without blanket. The following day I extend my stay for 12 hrs. I paid earlier so that they will not disturbed , when the time of check out. Ending they called 1am and telling me for check out and asking if I will extend my stay. What on earth? People are sleeping!!!! I had a pleasant night with my partner but only due to a clean comfort room and air conditioner.

To make this short as to why my rating of this place went downhill is that

I had seen some hair lying on the floor. The Amplifier for Music on the room is Broken. The T.V is not properly working and gets cut off almost all the time or interrupted. Called in for someone to assist but took too long to assist me so i called in again and told the front desk not to send anyone as i waited for too long.
