A new Chinese restaurant in town as I came across a branch located at the New Waltermart along Macapagal Avenue, near Mall of Asia. As I was heading down with my son the place’s authentic setting and rustic Asian touch quickly got my attention. Even the menu from afar was an appetising feat you just can’t miss! One thing that completely ruined everything was the noise and laughter surprisingly from the waiting crew. Their were more attentive and more in-tuned to passerby’s and activities happening outside what I thought was the next big Chinese food joint where I could hold meetings or bring family and loved-ones. It’s a pitty I said to myself leaving the place. I had the opportunity to dine at Kuanzhai Alley recently, and I was very impressed with the food. I started my meal with the Chongqing Chicken, which was a delicious and flavorful dish. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was full of flavor. For my main course, I had the Kung Pao Chicken, which was another excellent dish. The chicken was again cooked perfectly, and the sauce was delicious and spicy. For dessert, I had the Red Bean Soup, which was a sweet and comforting dish.

Stepping into Kuanzhai Alley felt instantly welcoming. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, offering complimentary fragrant Chinese tea and crunchy peanuts right away – a lovely touch! Service was impressively fast; our steaming dishes arrived in no time.
