This is a really sad excuse for a Popeyes chicken restaurant. I was in line when the doors opened so everything should have been organized and ready to open. This was not what I experienced. The young lady that took my order was pleasant and nice to deal with. The issue started when I received my order. I just ordered the C7 like you can see in the picture. It comes with rice and mashed potatoes. I received neither. I got 2 pieces of chicken with a biscuit and had to pay 45 pesos for the small cup of mashed potatoes that you can see in the picture. I was charged 80 pesos for the crab soup that I wanted to try and an additional upcharge for the cinnamon apple pie. When I went to inquire about why I didn't receive the rice and had to pay an upcharge for the mashed potatoes the manager made himself scarce and avoided eye contact with me. I'm a business owner and if I get wind of any issue that may arise, I'm quick to step in and provide a solution. Based on my experience and how it wasn't handled properly I would suggest going somewhere else. Look at the thigh that I received and you can tell that it was probably left over from the night before. It tasted like they had dropped it in a bucket of salt 🧂 and wasn't worth eating. I will never return here. My...
Read moreI ordered 3 pieces chicken with rice and bottled water because there are no other options for a la carte on their chicken meals and other burger meals. I paid 225 for 3 pieces chicken, and rice plus a regular coke which I don't drink, no options to change the softdrink for bottled water nor upgrade to coffee since they only offer mostly softdrinks are beverage so I have to pay extra 25 pesos for a bottled water if I want to. So that is a bummer since other competing fastfood chains offer to cancel the softdrink for a little less or at least offer bottle water for a little extra or no charge at all or better upgrade for a coffee instead. Their chicken is great but nothing extraordinary that I would pick it over other fried chicken offerings from other fastfoods. Their chicken tastes comparatively to burger king's fried chicken also almost the same crispyness. Dine if you want to but I can't tell anything special from them but definitely a nice option for difference, would I still go to Popeyes again? Yes but I think I'd double think and go to burger king instead more than Popeyes if I just want to eat a fried chicken meal. You're tie in with your softdrinks is definitely a downer, give people a choice to avail meals without softdrinks and offer...
Read moreWe tried Popeyes for the first time, and sadly, it was the worst service I had in a fast food chain.
I felt awkward entering the store because the clerk at the register was snobby and not approachable when taking orders.
The assembler seemed irritated when I gave her my receipt number. After she stamped my receipt, she just went to talk with the cashier, leaving me behind. I am a bit hesitant about lifting the tray because the arrangement looks like it will fall (one drink on each side, edge). But I was intimidated as the assembler looked at me, so I gently tried to lift the tray, and that's when one of the drinks fell. I know that it was my fault, but the assembler just shouted at me and said, "What is happening?!" and just looked at me irritated.
After that, I just lost my appetite because they looked at us all the time.
Sadly, dining here was not worth the price. It was a very traumatic experience for me. Very ironic for the "Keep on...
