We recently celebrated my wife's birthday at Jin Joo Korean Grill in Pasay, and I have to say—it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The ambience was modern and cozy, perfect for a special occasion. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and even surprised us with a small birthday treat, which was a very thoughtful touch. The selection of meats was excellent—everything was fresh, well-marinated, and cooked perfectly on the grill. Their signature cheese dip and gochujang sauces added an extra layer of flavor that we really enjoyed. We also loved their side dishes (banchan), especially the kimchi and pickled radish. What really stood out was the quality of service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and they were quick to refill the meats and sides. You can tell they're well-trained and care about customer satisfaction. Overall, Jin Joo gave us a wonderful dining experience that made my wife’s birthday dinner truly memorable. We’ll definitely be coming back—and bringing friends with us next time!

We recently tried Jinjoo Korean Grill, hoping for a great meal and experience. Unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed and let down. The customer service was quite poor. We waited for what felt like forever just to place our order, even though it wasn't busy. And it was frustrating to see the staff paying more attention to foreign customers than to us locals. The food was just okay, but definitely not worth the high prices. I was hoping for that authentic Korean flavor, but it fell short of my expectations. The atmosphere was nothing special either, lacking that cozy vibe you'd want in a Korean restaurant. All in all, I wouldn't recommend Jinjoo Korean Grill. There are better options out there for a more enjoyable Korean dining experience.

Cool place to dinne in but can be busy-chaotic on weekends. Staff was very polite but service might take a while to be served or they might forget your order. Food has good presentation, but everything is packed with sugar, even a simple beef broth becomes nasty with the amount of sugar on it. Chefs are probably Filipinos (no offense). There's also no unlimited food, everything is a la carte and pricey (set options aren't tempting). As a big fan of korean food and of traditional korean dishes, this place entered to one of the worst experiences so far in terms of KR bbq in PH. Its not terrible but it's not good either. Won't recommend.

Been here twice and the first time was not as bad as the second one, which was yesterday.

The food is okay but still pretty mediocre KBBQ.

Customer service is THE WORST. By far the worst customer service I’ve encountered in a restaurant. We were next in line when we arrived but we waited for about 15 minutes. My mother, who has a history of heatstroke, was already feeling unwell given that it was scorching at that time.

I went in and requested if we can just stand and wait inside. Mind you, I was asking so nicely and two members of the staff started BERATING me saying I should wait for my turn outside. THEY DIDN’T EVEN MAKE AN EFFORT TO UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION. And honestly, they could’ve told me to wait for my turn nicely and I would have understood but they were just outwardly disrespectful.

Then the girl called the next people in line, without knowing it was us. When we sat down, the same girl was slamming the plates, side dishes, etc. on the table like we were the ones at fault.

They kept ignoring us when we were ordering and when they came, they made it seem like it was a hassle getting our food. It was so bad that we had to hurry up because we just wanted to get out of there and if we weren’t hungry, we would have transferred to a different restaurant.

Customers should not be made to feel like they’re a burden because we were essentially begging for them to serve our food decently. I will definitely not come back to this restaurant, they treat customers as if they’re doing you a favor by getting you food. They were so inconsiderate, incompetent,...

The first thing I can say about this restaurant is that the taste of their food doesn't justify its price. I do not know what I am paying for. Is 70% of the price to pay for your rent in MOA?

I would probably have an ounce of consideration if your waiters are ACTUALLY attentive. I had to wait around 5 MINUTES just to ask for service water. The waiter who's supposed to do his job is either outside doing who knows what or chatting with his co-workers. Note that we are the first to enter the restaurant, so how could we not be noticed? And shouldn't service water be automatically served even before you serve the meal? Why did we need to ask for it? Your service and how you treat your customers don't really justify your 10% service fee, which is even calculated from an extremely inflated base price.

I don't even want to begin with the atmosphere. Your restaurant just played the K-pop Demon Hunters' soundtrack on loop. How can we, your customers, have an enjoyable time when we can't even relax due to all the tense music being played?

Our first impression of this restaurant is truly horrible. I don't recommend this place to anyone planning to eat and have a good time, because all you'll get from this restaurant is stress and contempt.

I would also understand if this was a one-time thing, but considering similar past reviews to mine, this has been a recurring issue. This goes to show they are not serious about...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jin Joo Korean Grill, a hidden gem of a Korean restaurant nestled in the heart of Manila. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for an authentic and delightful Korean dining experience. The restaurant's cozy yet elegant ambiance immediately transported me to Korea. Traditional Korean decor, soft lighting, etc. The attentive and friendly staff made us feel right at home. They were more than happy to explain the menu and even offered recommendations based on our preferences. Service was prompt without feeling rushed, and they truly cared about our dining experience. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food! Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece. We started with the classic Kimchi, which had just the right balance of tanginess and spice. The Bulgogi, a marinated beef dish, was incredibly tender and bursting with flavor. Don't miss out on trying the Bibimbap, a rice bowl with an assortment of vegetables and your choice of protein – a true Korean comfort food. And let's not forget about the Korean barbecue – an absolute must-try! The meat was of exceptional quality, and the DIY grilling experience added an element of fun to the meal. Special thanks to Mr. Cyril Perez for giving us a must try...
