Jipan — Restaurant in Pasig

Jipan’s bread is so soft, tasty and always fresh. Food choices once you opted to dine has wide variety of choices compared to other Japanese restaurants inside Estancia mall. I love the most is their dynamite - a different sets of maki topped with crisp. Ramen & yakiudon is so-so for a japanese restaurant, not their forte I guess. I also tried the chicken sandwich and its awesome good.

Ordered spaghetti in miso mushroom and banana foster perdu.

Wasn't worth the price for me. I couldn't tell much of a difference between the spaghetti and typical carbonara unless I try to think really hard where the miso part is. Despite that, it still tastes great nonetheless.

As for the banana foster perdu, it is quite big so it's a good dessert for two people, or one person with a big appetite for dessert. The bread is crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the inside, but the sauce made it a bit too sweet...

Food was good, priced right however the service is an area where they can improve. We were the only customer that they have when we visit but we has to repeatedly stand up when we needed something cause all the staff were seated doing something on the tables inside.
