The other tables were full of wealthy old people and our table we were wearing slippers as it was a rainy day LOL. Many wealthy folks come and dine here and this is one of the places I got rude service and I have huge feeling it was because of how we dressed/look, the servers are scanning your status as you enter the door.
When a diner likes your complimentary bread and asks for more, your restaurant should be proud that the diner likes your food, maybe charging for extra bread consumed is a better option instead of giving weird and hesitant glances and RUDE SERVICE making the diner feel like it was a mistake and have broken some unwritten rule by asking for more bread. (I noticed they were handing extra bread to other tables without any fuss so maybe it was just us).... Diners come to a restaurant to EAT. I got a lot better treatment in many places in Europe walking in my slippers. I should have backed out the moment I stepped in because I didn't feel comfortable, my bad, I was just there because I wanted some good lunch.
Note: They have some gaudy looking plaster reproductions, and some of the chairs are comfortable but the design don't all come together, there is effort for ambiance but it's really killed by the...

The food tasted good and serving sizes were hefty. For appetizers, we recommend the tuna salad and prawn spring rolls. For entreé, the pad thai (big on taste and serving), lechon kawali (though basic), and adobo are must-trys. The uni&shrimp pasta and black pasta leave a great deal to be desired, especially considering how pricey they are. Lastly, their frozen brazo is a standout dessert; white macadamia sansrival is also a good choice.
Service-wise, they were considerate to seat us in a corner away from the kitchen and other guests since we brought our dog. Although it was quite hard to call for a waiter's attention despite having very few customers and some were just dilly-dallying.
Overall dining experience was fine but not gonna...
Read moreI haven't been in one of your restaurants mentioned but while attending a family event at a Tamayo-owned resort in Pansol Laguna, my niece offered the Florabel Greaseless Peanuts, which my niece purchased in one of the service stations located if I'm not mistaken at the Santa Rosa freeway exit, Florabel Greaseless Peanuts. I applaud you for concocting such a fabulous preparation of the greaseless peanuts with garlic. They are ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! (.... Although, you can still reduce the amount of salt applied on the preparation, by about 50%, you can try that.) In addition, your Greaseless Peanuts have circulated around my circle of family & friends since I purchased about dozens of them on my way back to the States. They clamor for more of this product, but my trip back to the Phils will still be in 2018. Congratulations to you & more power to you and, hopefully, you will come up with the Florabel Greaseless Peanuts Lightly Salted with...
