I had been really looking forward to try the food at Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory, so I didn't really mind being on their wait list. Turn around time was relatively fast, considering the number of people waiting to dine here. I was, however, very disappointed in their food.
We ordered the following items from the menu:
Chicken karaage - This was one of the only things I actually liked. The chicken was crisp and was seasoned well.
Hayashi Beef Omurice - This dish was really not up to par as what I had expected. Althoughthe omelette was cooked well, the sauce was what really ruined the dish for me. It was a sort of watered down tomato based sauce which was honestly reminiscent of diluted menudo. The beef was tender, but did not have the flavors I was looking for.
Hamburg Steak (I forget the exact name of the dish) - This was nothing exceptional. The sauce was similar (if not the same) as the watered down tomato sauce. The beef patty was not bad, but nothing stellar as well.
Japanese Pancakes - The restaurant does have a disclaimer of a 1 hour wait time for their pancakes so we knew that we would have to wait for this dish. The pancakes were light and airy and it reminded me a bit of the egg white part of a brazo de mercedes.
Overall, my visit to Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory was nothing exceptional and was really not worth the almost 1 hour 30 min wait time.
If you want to try this place out, I suggest that you do so when there are no long queues.

Read moreMy recent dining experience at this establishment was, unfortunately, disappointing from start to finish.
The service was the first red flag. Pasta took 15 minutes to arrive, which would have been forgivable had the rest of the service been smoother. However, the Hamburg Omurice took over 30 minutes, despite multiple follow-ups. The staff seemed dismissive and evasive, avoiding interaction rather than addressing customer concerns.
When the dish finally arrived, it was a letdown. The hamburg steak was still cold in the center, yet oddly the cheese filling had already melted. The texture was unpleasant—difficult to chew due to the cheese—and the sauce and flavor profile felt cheap and uninspired. Waiting that long for such poor execution is inexcusable.
The dining environment was equally troubling. Staff sprayed cleaning products on nearby tables while customers were still eating, filling the air with a chemical odor that ruined what little appetite I had left. The guava iced tea arrived last, after repeated reminders, and even the cheesecake, usually a safe bet, was bland and disappointing.
Facilities also need urgent attention. The CR door was broken, a small but telling sign of neglect. To top it all off, we had to walk to the counter to settle the bill because the staff could not be bothered to bring it over.
Overall, this restaurant suffers from poor service, subpar food quality, and careless management. A place with potential, perhaps, but as it stands, it’s hard...
Read moreIf I have nothing good to say about a restaurant, I choose to keep it to myself. But your establishment brought a whole new level of anxiety not only once, but thrice in a span of a year. If not for my son’s love for your salmon dish, I won’t even opt to order from your store. Why? Poor service and lack of accountability from your staff.
Yes, my son waited again for an hour, and even had to come back for his food (because of a sporting event he had to attend in the nearby Philsports Arena). What is worse, he ordered the same item 30minutes before the family occupying the table behind us placed theirs, and they were served the dish first (I asked for the meal ticket of all the guests who ordered the same dish, and ours was punched first). I even had to demand for an apology (just to show my kid that people make mistake but need to own up to it) since the staff couldn’t offer any form of recompense except that the dish will be ready in a few minutes (I paid for everything to make sure that this rant is not about getting freebies).
There a lot of restaurants whose managers check if “all the orders are complete”. I hope the staff does the same. Simple solution to avoid an unnecessary complaint.
Again, I hate to say something bad about a business, but this feedback might very well help the owners think of ways to remedy this kind...
