It started rough. We went without a reservation on a weekend not knowing it gets fully booked. A door guy at front said its too crowded and we might not get food on time so we asked if he can take our reservation for tom night and he said he already has something written down in our name. We was super confident as if he owned the place so we thought we were set.Next night...i tried to confirm an hr ahead of the reservation. Only to find the guy at front was not a staff but cud be a trike driver! So we essentially had no reservation. It was our fault for trusting at the front entrance he was a staff and not checking more inside with reception. Thankfully the real staff had a place for us within 10 mins and the food was also really good. We had the meat lover some squid and cheesy torta. Most of my cousins had peanut or seafood.allergy but we got full. Interior was nice too. Just bring some citronella for the legs even a bug zapper wont help you. Also they gave us complimentary desserts of sweet potato balls in choco sauce and watermelon slices. Left a big tip for accomodating us on such short notice fr a grp of 7. Be wary of people at front. Go in and look for staff dressed in white with...

The place was magnificent! Once you enter, you’ll see a well-kept garden which invited you to slow down and relax. You’ll really have to slow down your pace so that you can take in the decor of the place.
Once we passed the garden, we entered their foyer where we left our shoes in little drawers. Why? Because of the shiny wooden plank floors. The whole place was made of wood which were all lovingly maintained.
Then there were all those art pieces that adorned the walls! There was so much to take in that you’d almost forget about the food!
We ordered:
Garlic butter shrimp - it was fresh, medium sized so one shrimp was filling and the butter garlic did not overpower the freshness of the shrimp.
Cococtopus - octopus in coconut cream - tender octopus meat lying in delicious coconut cream sauce
Seafood sisig - also very good
Laing rolls - Laing that was wrapped like fresh spring rolls
In general, the seafood was all fresh and good quality, the servers were attentive and friendly and the ambiance was relaxing.

Read moreWe recently dined at Kajoel Restaurant, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The ambiance is truly special, surrounded by trees and plants, which adds to the cozy and natural vibe. Being asked to remove our shoes and enter barefoot made the experience feel even more intimate and comfortable.
The service was quick, with the ladies at the desk being very welcoming and friendly. However, the male staff in the restaurant seemed a bit stressed, which was noticeable but didn't significantly impact our experience.
The food was excellent. We ordered their signature fried rice without pork, and they took the initiative to replace it with egg and seafood, which was a thoughtful touch. The seafood sisig was delicious, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the lechon kawali. We also tried the garlic butter shrimps, which were okay but not as impressive as the other dishes.
Overall, Kajoel Restaurant is a great place to dine, especially if you appreciate a cozy and natural ambiance. The food is delicious, and the service is efficient and friendly. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit to experience the unique atmosphere and...
