Cafe Mary Grace - Trinoma — Restaurant in Quezon City

I ordered the Bangus Silog at Mary Grace trinoma which is a dish consisting of fried boneless bangus with sunny side up eggs and garlic rice. I must say that it was really good!

The fish was not oily, and it had a crispy texture that was truly satisfying. I particularly liked that it was lightly marinated, and it didn't have that annoying vinegar taste that some bangus dishes have. The dish also came with sauces and sidings, which allowed you to choose which one to pair it with, making it a truly customizable experience.

I paired my meal with apple juice with cinnamon, and that any food or drink paired with cinnamon would come out good. That's a great observation, and I'm sure it added a unique flavor to the meal.

Lastly, I ordered an americano brewed coffee, and I found out that it was as good as their native hot shows that Mary Grace Cafe not only excels in their food but also in their coffee and chocolate drinks.

We had lunch here today. Even with face masks you can see the smiles in their eyes. I always get the hot chocolate. Today, I went with the fili beef sandwich. I had the wild mushroom 🍄 soup to go with. Topped off with the banana milkshake. That chocolate is melted chocolate, no milk, just chocolate. Asawa Ko had the seafood pasta. Clams, squid, mussels, and shrimp. Super yummy. Pasta was cooked perfectly complemented with a perfect sauce. Next time we eat there, that is what I am ordering. With the hot chocolate of course. A year ago during GCQ: This branch is particularly smaller but extra tables are strategically placed outside the restaurant. The mushroom soup and tomato & herb pasta was very consistent in taste and portion size was okay. But the chocolate mousse tasted very commercialized. Overall, it was still a very filling meal.

We are back after a year...still a very comfy restaurant that serves delicious comfort food. But pizza is not on their menu in this branch...
