From the moment we walked into Hanamaruken Ramen, we were greeted with prompt service and a fresh, comfortable environment that set the tone for an incredible meal. The staff was attentive and welcoming, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
The star of the show was, of course, the ramen. The amazingly perfect noodles had just the right texture—firm yet tender—and paired beautifully with the rich broths. I tried the Spicy Tobanjan Ramen, which had a deep, fiery flavor that was bold but not overwhelming. The Signature Happiness Ramen lived up to its name, with tender pork and a savory broth that left us completely satisfied.
To start, the fried and seasoned to perfection Chicken Karaage was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, made even better by the lovely egg salad on a lettuce leaf served alongside it—a simple yet delightful touch. The tasty Japanese chicharrons (seafood crisps) were a fun, crunchy finger food that added a nice contrast to the meal.
For sushi lovers, the Spicy Tuna Mentaiko Aburi Sushi was a must-try—creamy, slightly smoky, and packed with flavor. To wash everything down, the refreshingly lovely peach lemon iced tea was the perfect balance of sweetness and crispness.
Every detail at Hanamaruken Ramen was thoughtfully executed, making our visit an absolutely perfect experience. Whether you're a ramen enthusiast or just looking for a fantastic meal, this place delivers on every level. Highly...
Read moreDisappointing Experience - Won't Be Returning
I recently dined at Hanamaruken and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The staff seemed inattentive, and the overall quality of the food, particularly the Salary Man Ramen, was a letdown.
Firstly, the service was subpar, with the staff appearing disinterested and inattentive. This lack of engagement certainly affected the overall dining experience. I had hoped for a pleasant meal, but the indifference of the staff made it clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority.
The main disappointment, however, came from the Salary Man Ramen, a dish that I had enjoyed on previous visits. This time, the broth was excessively salty, and the overall taste resembled that of instant ramen rather than the authentic, flavorful experience I had come to expect from Hanamaruken. It was evident that the quality had taken a nosedive since my last visit.
I was genuinely disheartened by this decline in both service and food quality. As a customer who had previously enjoyed the offerings at Hanamaruken, this recent experience was a letdown, to say the least. Regrettably, I will not be returning to this establishment, as the overall decline in standards has left me with a poor impression.
For those seeking a satisfying ramen experience with attentive service, I would recommend exploring other options in the area. It's unfortunate to witness a once-favorite spot fall short of...
Read moreAnother good ramen place. Their signature happiness ramen is good. I ordered the full bowl, not the half one. See the pix? See those little white floating bits (and then some that are sticking at the sides)? Thats collagen. Wish they have an option to either add more of those, though. Also, did I mention it has a succulent meat? Very tender and tasty. Oh, I added an aji tamago on my ramen in case you guys are wondering why the others dont have them on their pix. The other one I ordered is their karaage, one of the things I also check in a ramen place (the other one is gyudon). I suppose their karaage is ok. Of couse, the best karaage I have eaten so far is still the one from Hakata Ton-Ichi (SM North Towers). Haven't tried their gyoza yet, so maybe next time I drop by again I'll order that next.
Edit: I've asked a few questions from them: They have a free extra noodles refill for any of their ramen. The floating collagen bits I mentioned above? You can ask them to either add more or put less of them. Which do you guys think I have opted to do?...
