You can enter the basement parking as early as 7am because some stores like Pancake House, Scout's Honor and Statbucks are already open. UCC Clockwork is currently under construction and will be open soon and that's another thing to look forward to. Oh yeah, since not all the lights are on that early in the basement, take note of the posts. It's either the designer or planner didn't notice or was maximizing the available space, but when you park there are these spots you have to park in a particular way. It's either your passengers won't be able to open their door or the driver won't be able to open his. It's those darn posts 😅 Also take note of those low lying vents, beams or whatever, because if you're an SUV you won't be able to open the back or worst, you might graze your SUV while backing into the slot. I don't know if it's just me, but i feel that SM's parking slots are wider than Ayala's 😮 Yeah, I know. Who goes that early to a mall? You found one, yours truly 😂 I usually have breakfast in malls and slowly eat my way to mall opening hours 😆 That way, I save on gas, get a nice parking slot and hide my laziness to move around the metro 😂 I'll probably stop doing that once I get married and have kids 😲 All the elevators and escalators are stopped that early so if you have passengers, drop them off first before proceeding to the basement and climb the escalators. Once I was stopped by the guard and she said that the mall was still closed to which I replied that my companionS (that's not a typo, empasis on the S for effect) were waiting for me upstairs. She then asks where and I said Pancake House so she let me pass. This is just a heads up for those having doubts or second thoughts to going too early to Ayala Mall Vertis North. I've done the same to Ayala Malls the 30th, Trinoma, Estancia, SM Cherry, U. P. Town Mall, Podium, Uptown Mall, Century City Mall, etc. As long as there's a breakfast place in a mall, expect to see me there exploring. 😀 (if you see a handsome guy in a dark shirt and jeans, that's not me 😂 I'm the chunky eyed...

Read moreAyala Mall Vertis North is a cute little mall beside Seda Vertis North Hotel and Solaire Resort and Casino North as well as walking distance to bigger, more popular malls like Trinoma and SM North Edsa. We just went there to get lunch after checking in in Seda Hotel, so we didn't get to explore much, but from what we saw and observed, here are the pros and cons we can share:
Pros: Less crowded and geared towards more mid-range to high-end target market compared to the mass target market of Trinoma and SM North. Ample mall parking just because people tend to go more towards the other malls. You would find some restaurants and shops that you don't see in SM or Trinoma. With open garden area. When you enter this Vertis North area, so feel transported to a different place as if you're in a well maintained high end part of the city away from the noise of Edsa.
Cons: Unlike SM and like what we also expect from an Ayala Mall, the layout of the building is not simple or as straightforward, so ask direction if you get lost. Except for maybe McDonald's, shops and restaurants available may be priced higher and not of the common restaurant chains, around P300 up for meals.
