Probably the worst samgyup experience I've ever had.
Their main feature they advertise is their Unli Seafood, which prior to going there, we've consulted which seafoods are available and they only mentioned mussels wasn't. Also confirmed via call and the rude lady confirmed that they indeed had a 4+1 promo for birth month.
Upon arriving, the guy server said they don't offer seafoods at the moment since they don't have shrimp as well - this is something that wasn't included in the conversation. The main reason we opted to drive here is because of the crabs which is my grandmother's favorite. So we settled for the unli meat instead. Funny enough for someone who caters samgyup grill - they don't have samjjang and their lettuce isn't fresh. Scallops also tasted odd. Their food servers stay at the back which we had difficulty calling everytime we needed something to the point that we had to refill the cheese and egg. The big guy server also seemed like they've had a long day which we would've understood given the nature of service but when we arrived, we were the only customers.
Upon billing out, we were then told that the +1 would only be 50% discount. For a number + 1 promo, this is the only place I've ever encountered that 50% would only be discounted. Why on earth would you mentioned +1 if it was only +.5? The servers said that they were only instructed this and this is in contrary to the communication we've had with the very rude lady who confirmed the former promo to me.
I called her before going home and she continuously talked me over as if I wasn't a customer who just paid what they asked. Not certain if she was stupid or she just didn't have common sense but I firmly narrated what we talked about - then she asked me why did we pay when she was instructing the servers something else - Girl? How on earth were we going to get out of your lame place if we didn't pay? This should've been communicated initially and not upon bill out. She suddenly stopped talking when I continued to rant about her stupid service.
Not recommended, this is a total waste of money, plus that lady doesn't have the hospitality skills needed to be in this kind of industry. I mean your food isn't even delicious and you scam your customers and then confront them upon...
Read moreOverall, it wasn't that bad. We ordered the Unlimited Grill + Seafood Platter A. However, we were kinda disappointed to find out that while Wagyu was included in the Unlimited Grill menu, it came with an extra charge of 100, which wasn’t mentioned on the menu itself. The Seafood Platter was quite overwhelming; we only ordered one serving, but it came with about 3 to 4 crabs, lots of mussels, and shrimp. The tempura was soggy, with the batter being cold but surprisingly hot on the inside — I'm not sure how that happened.
All in all, 799 for unlimited meats and seafood, it’s not terrible. However, I’d recommend adjusting your expectations — given the price, you shouldn't expect the freshness you'd find at a...
