Mariposa Budget Hotel Cubao — Hotel in Quezon City

There are lots of budget hotels/hostels in/around Cubao QC but Mariposa Budget Hotel Cubao is a little-discovered nice/comfortable property by Aurora Blvd next to SM Save-More Supermarket. Very quite and lobby/rooms nicely done (though I don't understand why there is big-mirror next to your bed!). Current rates are PHP1200/24-hours (much less than next-door SOGO is charging, PHP1500/24-hours), including continental breakfast delivered to your room in the morning. Water pressure strong (that if you don't control water-flow, the shower floor gets flooded!). They have all-channels Cable/wifi (though signal is poor inside room, you have to work in hallway) in room and lobby. Property is so closed to Gateway Mall/Ali Mall/Araneta Coliseum/Center, & Farmers Market. They still don't a live reservation online but you can call Mel or Vhen directly to confirm reservation, not always full house anyways. I stayed only one-night as shopping stop-over before flying nextday back to Honolulu, next time I will stay longer to enjoy Cubao shopping and maybe see a good basketball game...

The hotel room was good looks like a luxurious hotel and smells great too, however the price is quite expensive maybe to be fair of how great looking the room hotel was, but unfortunately there's no smart TV and needs some additional fee to have it and the shower was quite confusing and there's no instructions on it of how the hot or cold water works and also some of the ceiling have cracks on it but manageable, So overall the hotel was great if you're looking for a quite budget hotel but looks luxurious and also the hotel not quite noticeable is hard to find if you not using...

We had a very short stay here. The room is quiet despite being near Aurora Blvd. The staff are very discrete. They did not ask for ID during check in. No toothbrush and toothpaste provided but has hand soap on the sink, and a plastic loofah (and I think the same hand soap) on the shower area. Considering the price, this is okay. Flipflops were provided too. Toilet has a bidet.

The only comment I can give: no hot shower (for ro 302) and the shower head is not functioning properly. I guess it's a little clogged on the inside but the water...
