Belvedere Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in San Juan

We recently visited this restaurant with my family and I must say that it was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. We decided to order a mix of seafood dishes, beer, and margaritas to get the full experience.

First of all, the mixed seafood platter was a feast for the senses. We could tell that the seafood was fresh and of high quality just by looking at it. Next up were the margaritas, which were equally as impressive. They were not overly sweet or sour, but just the right balance of flavors. We could tell that they were made with fresh ingredients, which made all the difference. The beer was also cold and refreshing, which was perfect for washing down all the delicious seafood.

After 3 weeks eating in restaurants in the Philippines with food full of sugar and tomato Ketchup, I was really surprise to find on a small island like Siquijor, a restaurant with delicious cuisine and excellent seafood dishes! After a warm welcome from Olivier (French guy) and his wife Leah we were invited to have an excellent Mojito (high level Rum with real fresh mint) at the beautiful and well-ventilated bar. Further we had the choice to have dinner in the comfortable restaurant or on the roof-top terrace with a great view on the sunset. We ate here for lunch and the food was really good. We both ordered grilled fish with vegetables (tomato and cucumber) and rice and with a delicious sauce. The owner , Olivier , is a really friendly guy. You can easily reach the restaurant with a motorcycle.
