As a vegetarian we are always looking for dishes and restaurants using the incredible vegetables and herbs growing on the island. We found this super cute and welcoming place - we had a soup with string beans, pumpkin and eggplant, the soup itself is spiced with homegrown lemongrass and is a fresh coconut soup. They add local green little leaves, that are super nutritious, as the owner said. We also had lumpias- the thin and crispy spring rolls that are known all over the philippines. Usually they are made with meat, but here we found the most delicious and fresh made vegetable ones. They were so good, that I had them for breakfast and came back for a second time.
