Max's Restaurant - GH Mall — Restaurant in San Juan

Max's is an institution in Philippine dining for almost 75 years or so and their chicken has always been 'to die for' and it's only natural for the franchise to try other Filipino dishes, like my current favorites, Chicken Sisig Rice Meal and Sizzling Tofu--both spicy and tasty combined with the perfect texture. The meal package is best with a flavoured drink. Root beer is just the right beverage for yours truly to slightly tame the Siling labuyo (Philippine red chili) mixed with the meals as well as to prime your taste buds for the next few spoonfuls. Both meals + a drink barely set me back $10. The branch has courteous, accommodating staff and while the restrooms are shared and a tad small, it and the wash area are clean, important for any diner. Was a bot aprehensive in eating at Max again because of the bad experience I had at their Max NLEX Valenzuela branch. I complained at their FB page but never got a reply and full resolition from their Customer Service. 😥

Max at the new Greemhills Mall was new and very clean. We decided to have dinner and order their Spring Chicken and Beef Kare-Kare. This time they did not disappoint. The chicken was freshly cooked. The Kare-Kare was delicious and was served hot.

We wipp definitely return to Max's new Greenhills...

Dined here a couple weeks ago but my review was not posted. This review is for the new branch in GH mall. Out of all the Max’s branches I visited,including the first branch in QC, this one in GH mall had the best food and best service. The male manager was very attentive and gave good direction to his staff. The food arrived fast and everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. The servers were also quick and polite.
