Shangri-la’s Bake House is one of the places that surprised me in terms of price.

Not overpriced, and not bad.

I go there for take-out/pick-up of food.

For cakes- I only like 2 flavors, Ohaina being my top choice. But it’s always a pleasure to receive cakes from my colleagues from Bake House because they’re good.

Note: there are smaller versions that are affordable as well.

For coffee -nope, I buy mine across the street

For pastries -good and affordable

For cookies -totally worth it in terms of price vs size, but the texture you have to like. Not everybody appreciates it.

Aside from Ohaina, there are days I crave badly for the apricot brownie.

It’s so soft and yummy but not something that I’d like to eat another time the same day. Once is enough.

What I don’t like is, we can’t bring our dog to Shangri-La in general. And there is a small Al fresco area that idk how can I access it.

But the staff are okay, not as fast as the ones from other cafes but they’re accommodating and helpful...

We’d always see people lining up here whenever we’d pass by the lobby, so after lunch at Raging Bull, we decided to grab dessert here, and we were pleasantly surprised.

Delicious vanilla square cake, with crunchy pastry.

The hot chai latte (with almond) was the best I’ve had.

We also bought croissant for takeaway, and it was also good (and reasonably priced, considering the place is in a hotel). The croissant is I believe 85php (compare that to Paul’s insanely 140php croissant).

Capacity of the cafe is not big though so most often the place is always packed, and mostly customers with laptops and working remotely so prepare to wait for a table.

My only gripe - hope they offer oat milk soon. They currently offer soy and almond as dairy alternatives.

Overall a great cafe place without the exorbitant...

This coffee is simply outstanding. The rich flavor of each cup is brewed to perfection and will please any coffee lover. The baristas clearly have a passion for their craft whether you prefer a robust espresso or a creamy latte — in both cases, the drinks are delivered with an exact amount of pleasure.

The coffee and pastries sing, and for the sake of the record, the shop is not enormous. It can be intimate, warm and inviting place to be, but is very small and feels cramped when it is extremely busy. Perhaps your visit should be timed for relaxing with friends if you’re after a place to retch.

Overall this is a great place to add to your visit if you like quality brews and great treats. With cozy part of the charm, just be prepared, because you’re going to have a...

Wide selection of good but not overly priced pastries given the location. The area for dine-in was small and cannot really accommodate my customer at once or a large group.
