High Street Cafe — Restaurant in Taguig

The best buffet resto in the hotel ever had even though bit pricey!!! ❤️

My first time to have breakfast birthday last December 28, Saturday was my unforgettable experience. The staff was very courteous, polite and friendly to have help when really needed, especially during my problem on logging in in my ShangriLa Circle account (thanks a lot to receptionists who help me to unlock my account using landline to get the guest service agent the instructions on what to do). Also, they granted me my special request to have a birthday cake for my birthday celebrant David Archuleta in absence, though long distance. Grabe, I love the way to make my day so special. ❤️

And what's crazy about High Street Cafe, the ambience is really better (I get to have on the window side watching rain while eating), the dining areas are super excellent in interiors and the buffet stations are so good!!! Breakfast is different from lunch and dinner (dinner only offered during holidays December season). More food choices to choose and I ate a lot but not all because I'm getting craved much and I tried lots of cuisines in small amounts to appreciate my taste buds. It's like I explore more food to have on my tummy.

And the service staff are so good and friendly, they understand my needs kahit lumamig na chocolate drink ko, so I insist not to replace new one during first lapag ng drink. Also, the kitchen staff are very good to gave best service, especially sa salad, noodles at egg station. No words but amazing!!! I love the way what they prepare the dishes out of love and care. 😘👌🏻

And the best part, the discount! I use the voucher worth 25% from Circle account to deduct the normal price. Ang saya, I got better pay to push through, ang laki ng nabawas sa payment ko, only just P 1.2k is enough, malaking bagay ito.

And of course, the people I mingled to was the best part also, I get the chance to have small conversations while eating in pause. I'm so happy to have with them. Even the restaurant manager and the sous chef was very friendly too. 💯

For me, this resto is the BEST! Kulang na lang, I will more 7 stars to make it 12 as my grade to you High Street Cafe! I will recommend this for those who want food adventures to take....

Service wise - it is perfect. Hands down to Sofia, who greeted everyone with her warmest smiles. Even before leaving the restaurant, I saw her accommodating fellow guests with a smile. Guess what? 3 foreigners guest were smiling and talking to her. Imagine if all are like her, all guests will be smiling, happily dining and have their breakfast.

Shout-out to Nathan, who served our taho with the heart. I kiddingly said “you must be so well compensated to provide such service.” He said he loved the industry and working for Shangrila and it’s guests. He even said/shouted the famous “taho!!!” which my sister and I missed. Who would have such energy in the morning? Yes, it is Nathan. Kudos Shangrila for hiring people Nathan.

Hats off to the polite, positive and professional attitude and service of Chef Liza, RJ, Mich and Caroline. And Lancelot as well!

Food was 9.8/10 - all was perfect, my sister was impressed with how effort was given to prepare quality food. I am happy you have impressed my sister. She is a chef in Australia and I am glad to have given her a good Filipino breakfast. She said she was impressed with how the bacons are cooked because ot was done with sheer effort.

There’s less than 10 points I guess for the (1) dimsum, I have been producing high quality dimsum and it didnt pass my expectations. (2) empanadas could have a thinner dough? or bread?

Other than that, service, food quality and it’s dedication to provide good food to its customers is perfect! A Filipino pride.

Didn't expect this will turn out to be really good 💯 Been reading a lot of negative comments about ShangriLa, so I thought also High Street Cafe. But, there has been quite a few negative reviews here in gmaps. I understand them, it really depends on where will you based. For me, my wife and my mom, we really enjoyed it. My mom got a voucher, so we spent it for our wedding anniversary despite of the negative comments/reviews. Because for me, it really depends on our taste buds 😊 and specifically with us.

Food was superb 👌 Didn't know at first that there are more foods at the other end near the kitchen.

We've been eating at Sofitel many times already. So, to my surprise we will coming back for more for this place. Really.

Super friendly staff. Servers are really attentive.. that time 😊 Its our first time.

They even offered a compliment coconut something soup for free.

If you've noticed some of the pictures of the food are not full, it is because it is REALLY GOOD 👍🏻

Place is great. But there is one thing, not a major thing, their restroom is located outside the cafe, and it is quite small. But, their is another restroom also located outside but its kinda far. But one thing I liked for their restroom was, I didn't notice ANY janitors entering the restroom. Everytime I used the restroom, it was always clean. This has nothing to do with the Buffet. Okay ☺️

To wrap up, yeah, it was a great dinning experience. Worth the price. Food was superb 👍🏻

Didn't had the chance of tasing it all. Next time. Haha.
