This place is a joke despite NOT being allowed in!!! This was because my wife was wearing Croc Siren shoes??? The excuse given was they were rubber shoes. Like "huh???" We were totally looking forward to checking this spot out and to add to the numerous joints we had already gone to (ie - The Back Room, Out of Office, The Attic, Peak Bar). We got to the door and were met by a male subject who was frantically looking at our shoes. He told us to wait and returned accompanied by a female who made the decision not to let us in because my wife was wearing Crocs??? When questioned we were told the Crocs she was wearing were rubber soled and they did not allow Crocs! This was a sorry excuse of a dress code since the Crocs were not the atypical variety and were Sirens. I, myself, was wearing D&G Portofino sneakers so what's your point, Bank Bar??? My wife and I have had no issues with entry into establishments ranging from Las Vegas, South Beach Florida, Manhattan NY, Amsterdam, Paris, Italy, and Spain just to prove a point. Bank Bar... you're in PI located in BGC where there's plenty of other choices so take a look in the mirror and get your ish straight. It's like your discriminatory towards people who are willing to support the business but at the same time you want a "certain-type" of patron to fill the room. Weak! Folks...pass up on this bar and look elsewhere and support places that are willing to welcome you with open arms! Bank Bar is a place run by...
Read moreBank Bar is hands down one of my favorite spots in BGC. The moment you walk in, youâre welcomed by a vibrant yet cozy atmosphere that instantly sets the mood for a great night. The vibes here are just rightâlively but not overwhelmingâand the crowd is always diverse and super friendly. It feels like a place where everyone belongs, whether youâre out with friends, meeting new people, or just enjoying a quiet drink at the bar.
The drinks are absolutely amazing. You can tell the bartenders put real craft into what they serve, and each cocktail feels thoughtfully made. They also have a dedicated smoking zone, which is a nice touch for those who want it without affecting the rest of the space.
A huge shoutout to Kevin, the bartenderâprobably the most popular face here, and for good reason. Heâs not only talented behind the bar but also makes you feel right at home. Whether itâs recommending drinks, cracking a joke, or just keeping conversations flowing, Kevin really elevates the experience.
Overall, Bank Bar isnât just about great drinksâitâs about the atmosphere, the people, and the warmth that keeps you coming back. If youâre looking for a place in BGC thatâs both welcoming and...
   Read moreHi everyone!
I guess you can say that this place is quite luxurious. So, most businessmen are at this place. Reminds a lot of speak-easy bars in Montreal which is a huge compliment. I think that the fact that it is exclusive makes the vibe that more special. Especially that dead tree in the smoking area which is awesome. The drinks are quite amazing! Go for their cocktails because they are quite surprising. However, as a guy who traveled all the way from Montreal, I am very disappointed that the dress code is quite strict considering the attire of women are quite vulgar at this bar. They are practically exposing their body parts and yet they donât accept shorts for guys with a long sleeve. I would think that there are far worse dress codes than this. But anyhow, it didnât change the fact that the place is amazing.
Advice: You must wear pants, long sleeves (not too formal) and shoes. No shorts, slippers and all are prohibited to enter this place.
Thank you guys and...
