Read more“Beautiful interior” was my first reaction upon entering. The restaurant was spacious and comfortable. Too bad one air-conditioning unit was out of order. We were seated near the windows and there was a small fan that eased the warmth of the restaurant. Menu was high tech with tablets colorfully displaying each dish. One click describes the the dish in detail. However, I personally found it tedious to keep going back to the main menu and starting all over again to look for my next choice. I’d still recommend a hard copy of the menu for senior customers who are more used to browsing the pages though I forgot to ask if they have one. We ordered the following for 3 hearty diner ladies-Indus Cheese Tikka, Butter Chicken, Palak Paneer, Potato wedges with cauliflower (sorry! Forgot the name of the dish!), naan and roti. We had an issue with one of the main dishes, which they immediately rectified. Service was A+ as the female server recommended food that’s more suitable to the Filipino palate. Kelvin, one of the servers, also taught us the proper use of the small containers on top of our plates. They were attentive throughout the meal. We all loved the Butter Chicken and “potato wedges” while the other dishes were so-so for us. The restroom was spacious with cloth face towels to use for drying hands instead of the usual disposable paper towels. Good job on decreasing trash! Parking was available at the back. Our conclusion: Nice to dine here once in a while when there’s an occasion to celebrate as there are other equally good food with less expensive options too choose from. This was actually our reunion after a few years. Good memories will definitely come to mind when I...
Read moreGreat food to start with. We had a bunch of different menus. I had the prawn curry, mild spicy, prawns perfectly cooked, a bit too much skin on though. The coconut base is quite sweet. I also had the goat stew. Quite spicy, tender meat just enough chewy to enjoy a mouthful of goodness. You can enjoy the sauce by itself with roti or garlic naan. Yummy. Salty lasso was good with edible paper, in fact sugar, a bit too sweet for me. Based on my personal preference, a bit too sweet "Filipino" style but surely it was all yummy. For desserts, I had a sweet goodness, again too sweet. Service could improve. We were served water quite late after ordering and the waiter did not explain well the dishes. They also kept changing the waiter/waitress assigned to our table which led to some confusion. They also served the dishes to the wrong guests. We had to swap our dishes. The good thing is that there were many Indians dining so the food must be authentic enough. I didn't see the bill since I was invited, but prices on the menu seemed fair for the quality and serving, except for the naan and roti that I found a bit expensive per piece and no bread or rice is included with the dishes. You have to order separately. I would probably go back if I had a chance but I would not be craving to go back. No pictures this time but the presentation...
