Took me 2days to realize that this branch did not made my birthday lunch with my sister was a good one. Decided to eat here to try greek food obviously, my first time. Arrived just before lunch, we were asked by attendant if we have reservation - none, directed to seat for two at couch which is dirty VISUALLY DIRTY, did not make any fuss for the restaurant was kind of busy for peak hour. There's this nice table attendant who helped us on what to order, showed him a picture of what I want to have and great he has our order, took few minutes to serve our food and as i about to dig in my beef kalamaki, paused for a second thinking what to do, called the other available table attendant, showed him my plate - parsley garnish of beef kalamaki has worm, told him I dont like it anymore so he took that away. Table attendant2 came explained that 'chef said that the worm may be came from parsley, so yeah told him just to come back for I am not decided on what to order again. Few minutes pass and called table attendant2 told him that I still want the same order - beef kalamaki but make sure to double check as they prepare it. My food was served but this time parsley was separated, was okay the second time.
As I eat, some plates were empty, but I am still eating, table attendant came and cleared the plates without saying anything - he just bussed out the plates which has the sauce in a mini cup on, that I am still using for the beef - I sigh and thought that just let it pass again for I dont wanna ruin my day. Finished the salad and in a second table attendant2 came and asked if we were done so l said yeah, at least this time table attendant asked first before clearing the table, but the thing is we were siting next to this 2 woman mid 30's who is working just around the area to grab lunch I suppose and saw that they were done eating too, but table attendants did not bother to approach the table to clear their table. So what was the meaning of that? It is so ANNOYING that someone is still eating and someone clear out your table without saying anything and yet there's this other table with to buss out plates too that they did not bother to approch and clear the table. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
This person in a pixie cut, on a blazer - can tell that she is the manager on floor, approached us. She was telling something that I cant understand, she was stuttering and took me 3 ANO? to confirm what she was saying, she said that 'how's our food and apologized for the incident! Told her that food is good and that she can't do nothing about the worm incident (fake smile), then she left. Oh, I had yogurt on the house for the incident, Imao.
Paid for poor customer service and so so value for money for...
Read moreThis Mediterranean restaurant is an absolute gem! I first came here last year with a large group—my family and a friend who was visiting at the time—and we had such a wonderful experience. The service was outstanding; the staff was incredibly attentive, accommodating, and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is great, and the restaurant itself is spacious and never felt crowded, which made for a very comfortable dining experience.
The food was so delicious that I had to come back! A few days ago, I returned and ordered the eggplant dip and a virgin mojito, both of which were absolutely amazing. The mojito was super fresh, packed with lots of herbs, and so refreshing. The eggplant dip was to die for—rich, flavorful, and perfectly made. I also got the vegetarian moussaka, which was cooked to perfection. It was so hearty that I couldn’t even finish it and had to take the rest home!
This is hands down the best Mediterranean/Greek restaurant I’ve had in the Philippines—and honestly, it’s almost as good as the authentic Mediterranean food I’ve had in Greece itself. On top of that, it’s super vegetarian-friendly, which I really appreciate. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing Mediterranean food, and I will definitely...
Read moreThis is from same makers as the famous Greek restaurant Cyma which makes everything superb! "Souv" is actually short for Souvlaki which is a Greek dish referring to grilled meat hence their menu is more diversified with the meat selection (which is highly recommended!!) but their usual bestsellers - salads, freshest seafood, and infamous pasta, still are available here. Ambiance is quite a bit noisy compared to Cyma, casual dining experience. We ordered the 2 bestsellers - Paidakia (char-grilled lamb ribs) and Cyma's famous Roka Salata salad. Lamb ribs was just perfectly grilled, juicy tender and pinkishly cooked inside that it made us both eat it with our hands to finish every bit of it to the bone. Roka Salata never fails of course and goes perfectly well with our meat (tip: regular serving can actually be shared by 2!) and we got the yogurt shake too which was really good - had hint of honey but it wasn't too sweet like others. Would definitely go back for the lamb all over again! Good dining experience care of our attentive server Just, who even offered washing bowl when he saw us eating the lamb with our bare hands - always a plus for...
