It was my first time here. I arrived early for a meeting and decided to take some important calls while waiting for the others to arrive. I saw a couch area that looked like a small cabin, with a sign that said "RESERVED."
I asked the baristas (the woman with curly hair and glasses, and the man beside her) if I could sit there. They responded with, "Ilan kayo, maâam?" I said, "Three." The guy replied, "Maâam, pagdating na lang po ng mga kasama niyo." I found the tone a bit off, but I said okay and sat at one of the other chairs while placing my order.
However, the music was too loud, and I really needed a quieter spot to take my calls. So I approached the same barista again and asked politely if I could move since my companions were indeed on their way. She responded very sarcastically "sige maam umupo kana doon"" while pointing at the cabin. This I really found unnecessary and unprofessional.
Overall, the baristas and the cashier didnât seem accommodating at all. The atmosphere gave off a really bad vibe, which is disappointing for a...
Read moreI just passed across this cafe when I was strolling around BGC to pass the time due to traffic. Went in blind and had no idea with whatâs on the menu. Eventually I settled for the chicken alfredo for the pasta, pan au chocolat for dessert, and sea salt spanish latte for the drink.
The pasta looks better than it tastes. The flavors are definitely there but lacks amount, which made the pasta taste dry. I wish they put more sauce and oil to it.
The Pan au chocolat didnât differ from the pasta in terms of texture. It was really dry and it is not savory as it looks.
Despite the underwhelming food, the cafe got its redemption thanks to the sea salt spanish latte which I saved for last. The creamy, salty-sweet mixture with a balanced taste of both worlds are spot on. Ended on a good drink, I guess.
Overall, I think the cafe is still worth the shot. The ordered food is not a hit or miss but just lacking in a certain aspect, while the drink made me want...
Read moreIâm pleasantly surprised by the quality of coffee hereâitâs almost at par with some of the better-known coffee shops Iâve been to. I personally love their Sea Salt Latte and Flat White! Since I work at the Menarco Building, I regularly stop by before heading up to the office.
The location is super convenient, and the ambiance is calm and relaxingânot overly crowded, with quiet corners where you can truly enjoy a good cup of coffee. I also appreciate the creative and engaging installations like the photo booth at the entranceâit gives the place a unique and fun vibe.
One suggestion Iâd love to share: given how good the coffee is, it would be even better if the staff could be a little warmer. A simple smile or friendly greeting can go a long way in making customers feel more welcome and valued. It would definitely elevate the...
