The food was ok. I guess for a restaurant with the name chicken on it (pollo) I would expect the chicken to be more flavorful. We got the roasted chicken and it tasted pretty bland. The sauces were also unimpressive. The only good sauce was the red one!! I enjoyed that! It was savory, spicy and sour!! It almost made the dinning experience bearable. Burrito tasted really great, it was surprising because it was not their main dish. I would recommend their carnitas burrito. The size was really good and for a 1 pound burrito it was really filling! The only draw back to the burrito experience was the lack of sauce. There was no crema (garlic sour cream) which is the typical partner to any burrito. Oddly enough they partnered their burrito with a mayo like Caesar dressing, which was a total turn off. Their Nacho grande was good in size but i would expect meat on something called grande. Instead it had only jalapenos and cheese. For 550 pesos it was totally not worth it. Overall it was a pricey meal for a taste that was very mediocre. Señor Pollo is a place that we would possibly visit as a last resort if we can't find any other place to eat. Certainly not the 1st place that would be on our Mexican...
Read moreA good thing I would love to share is the very fast service. After placing my order it did not take too long for my order w/c was a Quarter Roast Chicken w/ 2 sides to arrive.
The place does look to be a little gloomy at first observation, but it does seem to be the vibe the place is going for as they also cater for late night drinks by serving beer and other alcohol.
They accept debit w/c is convenient, but during the time I dined there they don't seem to have the machine working so I had to insert my debit card at the counter. A minor inconvenience, but an inconvenience nonetheless preventing me from giving full stars for the review.
As a last note, I appreciated the food I had served to me. The roast chicken was flavorful and it was complemented nicely by the sauce they have paired w/ it. The sides I chose w/c were the Colombian Beans & Patatas Bravas were really good as well. Overall, I was surprised the meal filled me up satisfyingly.
This is the 2nd time I have tried Señor Pollo. The 1st one I can not perfectly recall the experience but I can remember it was at Quezon City. What I can say is that this latest one is a memorable experience. One of the good dining spots available...
Read moreWhat's not to like about perfectly seasoned beautifully cooked chicken at reasonable prices? Not much I say. So, I am quite fond of the Senor Pollo chain, I enjoy the casual ambiance and speedy service as most as much as the food.
Pros: -I can't knock the location, the parking is sufficient and close to other places worth visiting (home depot, Astroturf pitches ) great location for watching sport. great for a groups (even better with beers)
Cons: might come across as a little low end compared to the other...
