Caravan Black Coffee Company is a haven for coffee enthusiasts and freelancers alike. My recent visit to this cozy coffee spot left me impressed with its inviting ambiance, quick service, and, of course, their delightful coffee selection.
The cafe's atmosphere is conducive to getting work done on a laptop, making it an ideal spot for remote workers and students seeking a change of scenery. The ample seating options, including comfortable chairs and well-lit tables, create a pleasant environment for productivity. The soothing background music and friendly chatter added to the overall charm, making it easy to settle in and focus on tasks.
At Caravan Black Coffee Company, ordering was a breeze with their quick counter service. The staff was attentive, ensuring that customers' orders were taken promptly, allowing for minimal disruptions to work or conversations. This efficiency contributed to a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Their coffee selection is a definite highlight. As a coffee aficionado, I was delighted by the range of options available. From classic espressos to indulgent lattes, their expertly brewed coffee catered to varying taste preferences. The rich aroma and perfect temperature made each sip a delight, setting the bar high for other coffee establishments.
For those with a sweet tooth, the lemon bar is an absolute must-try. Its tangy and zesty flavor offered a delightful contrast to the richness of the coffee drinks. It was a refreshing and palate-cleansing choice that left me craving more.
One unique aspect that sets Caravan Black Coffee Company apart is their pet-friendly policy. The fact that they allow up to three large dogs inside at a time adds to the warm and inclusive atmosphere. Seeing furry friends lounging with their owners brought a smile to my face, making the cafe even more inviting and welcoming.
In conclusion, Caravan Black Coffee Company is a fantastic coffee spot in BGC, perfect for those seeking a productive environment to work or study. With a well-curated coffee selection, scrumptious pesto, and delightful lemon bars, it caters to both coffee enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Add to that the pet-friendly policy, and you have a truly charming and inclusive coffee destination. The only reason I'm withholding one star is that there was a leak from the ceiling that kept dripping on my laptop but I was too busy to tell the staff about the problem so that's on me. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, and I look forward to...

I’m a regular here to the point that I’ve had the chance to make small talk with the owner a couple of times. He’s very kind. So, here’s my review.
For those with hyperacidity like me, sorry but their coffee might not be for you. So, I’d recommend their kyoto matcha latte, especially if you’re into matcha (even if you’re not, you’ll never know this might convert you into a matcha lover) You can still try their coffee to see if you can handle the acidity or just make sure you have medication with you. Unfortunately, for me, I can’t handle it most of the time. Although, I’d still order a cup from time to time because it’s hard to resist!
For friends with no hyperacidity problems, I recommend the Cold Blonde, Lavender Latte, and their seasonal drinks. I’ve only tried one seasonal drink called Jack Frost (Cinnamon Latte) and loved it!
I’ve never tried their food except the snacks. Lemon bars, brownies, muffins, and banana bread are really delicious. Btw, the brownies are pretty decadent and may be too sweet for some people, but this is my favorite! Cookies were yummy, too. They’re not the soft ones, though. So beware if you’re into soft cookies. Still worth the try, trust me. My fave is the cranberry white chocolate one.
There’s usually a lot of people in this cafe, locals and foreigners, (and pets) so you can easily tell that this is a must-try cafe when you’re in BGC!
They also have cute merch—shirts, caps, matcha tools, and a bunch of other stuff. Planning to get one soon! :)
PS cashless payments only. Gcash accepted.
PPS i think this place can be perfect for brunch dates or client meetings or when you just wanna spend some time alone or...
Read morePoor coffee, worse service. Barista / cashier was unwelcoming and was untrained. She appeared to know nothing about their coffee and couldn’t give a satisfactory answer when asked. I also inquired about their wines and alcoholic drinks, she pointed to her back and said “that’s it”. I asked if there was at least a list I could see and she responded with “no.” So, okay. No sale. My companion asked that his syrup be served on the side; she acknowledged but when the drink was served, the request was not met.
Honestly one of the worst and most unaccommodating service person I’ve met in recent memory. I would suggest she look for a non-customer facing job instead. I’m sure I wouldn’t even glance a smile if she wasn’t wearing a mask.
Ordered the cold brew which was listed as Php170, but I was being charged Php175. As expected, she didn’t know how to answer so she asked someone else. This other person looked annoyed and mumbled that it was a typographical error. I didn’t hear very clearly but if I’m not mistaken, she mentioned that the menu was from 2017, then she thanked me for pointing out the error. Okay, so nobody ordered the cold brew since 2017? Nobody ever noticed the wrong pricing? Eh, hard to believe.
Now that we’ve settled, we were prepared to enjoy our drinks. But alas, the drinks were not all enjoyable. Cold brew was unpalatable; poor balance dominated by burnt-like bitterness. Other drinks were very very sweet.
TL;DR: Save your time and your money; there’re a lot of other better coffee shops in the area (Starbucks or other non-"specialty" coffee places are better. Seriously). Would not recommend it at all and will...
