It was warm at the first floor. I asked to have my family seated upstairs cause i've eaten here before and the AC is better upstairs. I have a 8 month old and we came from a cold weather country so we'd appreciate a cool air conditioned room. The staff said they prioritize the first floor and so we were sat on the first floor. We were also excited to eat here cause coco's is our comfort food when we were living in Japan. Before talking about the food, I wanted to say the service was not the best. The guy taking our orders seemed not eager to take our order and after our food came, the staff were loud chatting and laughing. I have no problem with this but there were flies at the restaurant and calling them felt like I was disturbing a friends' chitchat time. Now the food: curry seemed watered down compare to Japan, and it also was not a lot. We had 250g rice and I know back in Japan, we still have some curry for our rice after our meat was gone. I'm sorry for comparing it to Japanese standards but it really seemed like we were a bother to the staff. Also Level 2 spice is different here. It's not as spicy as back in Japan, so I suggest go higher (or maybe it's watered down?). Washroom was clean but needs a changing...

Dish Ordered: Pork Cutlet Curry Rice (upgraded to multigrain rice) Add-ons: Half-cooked egg, Plus Set (drink & ice cream)
Curry: One of my favorites! I opted for the mild spice level, which had just the right amount of heat to complement the rich, flavorful curry sauce.
Pork Cutlet: Perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining tender and juicy inside—a great texture contrast with the curry.
Sides: The half-cooked egg added a creamy richness that elevated the dish even more.
Dessert: Ended the meal on a sweet note with a scoop of strawberry ice cream and cookies & cream ice cream—simple but satisfying.
Overall: A hearty, comforting Japanese curry experience. Highly recommended if you love customizable spice levels and crispy cutlets paired with...
