Giligan's — Restaurant in Taguig

Celebrated our Valentine's day here. We got seated in the most uncomfortable spot in the room (surrounded by like 5 tables). The atmosphere/vibe is off. Room lighting is overstimulating along with how many people were there. No Gcash payment was offered, said i-Gcash ko na lang daw sa employee. No data service. Ordered 1 Giligan's Rice, Lechon Kawali, and Boneless Chicken Teriyaki. No one gave us any water, so we thought water was supposed to be paid pa. They gave us iced tea lang. No soup. Waited for AN HOUR for our order. We had two women seated beside us and they were growing impatient too. Kids crying at the restaurant. Servers were bumping into our table left and right because of how complicated our seating is. Finally, after such a long wait, our order came out but the server handed it to the women seated beside us. We looked like hungry fools hinting that was ours. The servers were all young and looked so confused when the women claimed it wasn't theirs and that they ordered something different. They noticed us and confirmed for like the nth time that this was our order, and the male server said to the other female server, "Sabi sa iyo eh. Sa kanila 'yan, tama ako.", suggesting that they were literally making a bet and laughing as they got orders wrong. The food was meh. Didn't even taste new or fresh. We LITERALLY had to ask for water before we got served a glass (mind you, this is about over an hour na). The food was so mid. Not worth it. The bill was 1,400 PHP. Don't know how it came to that. We had to wait so long na naman to get our bill, get our takeout, and pay sa Gcash.

What a disappointing experience. We should have went to Gerry's but it was a full house on V-day. Will not eat here again and won't recommend that anyone eats here. The servers are very unprofessional (given their age), the food was mid, the atmosphere-- noisy, chaotic, unenjoyable, the prices-- 1,400 for this horrible experience.

This is hands down the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. They promised a 20–30 minute wait, but we sat there for an entire hour, assuming the food was being freshly prepared. Imagine our disappointment when the dishes finally arrived stone cold, as if they had been sitting out forever. Only the rice had any warmth, and that’s hardly an accomplishment. To make matters worse, the staff seemed completely uninterested in their jobs. I raised my hand for five minutes trying to get someone’s attention, and instead of helping, they just pointed at each other like they were deciding who should deal with us. No urgency, no professionalism, no respect for customers. If this is what they consider service, then they shouldn’t be in the business at all. Save your money and your patience, this place is an...

The restaurant ( Market Market branch) looks good from the outside. But unfortunately in real life looks can really be deceiving. I was very hungry coz it was about 2pm and together with my sis and nephew who are Balikbayans, we ordered my fave sisig that I tried from the other branches many years back. The sisig was served just warm not sizzling despite it being served on a sizzling plate. We didn't taste much of the chopped pork coz it mostly contained crunchy chicharon but tasted old with an unpleasant aftertaste. I told the server upon settling the bill about our experience and she seem to be disinterested and no apology whatsoever regarding the matter. We don't recommend this place. Just a waste of money and calories. We don't have plans...
