Need to be critical here due to the prices and the high-end image they portray. Paid nearly $400USD for one steak and two prawns… but neither were good. Japanese wagyu rib eye at over 1100 per ounce expecting a quality cut. They presented a “12 ounce” that was more like a 10 ounce. Fat on ends easily represented 2 ounces of the entire piece. Shame on me for not refusing it before they cooked it. Asked for Medium doneness and received something that was half medium and the other half was rare. Clearly a broiler that is not balanced and/or a grill master that got careless. Really poor cut and poor execution on something priced so high. Such a shame. Of course it’s wagyu, so the parts that were ok tasted awesome. Ordered the prawn dish to compliment the steaks and never ate a worse prawn in my life. Again, such a low down shame to ruin something that could have been great. 2 prawns were nearly 1k. Well overcooked, hard and zero tenderness. Bruschetta was part of the set menu and arrived “au gratin” which is not how you serve bruschetta. The waitress also called it “brushhetta”… can we all just agree that it’s pronounced “brusketta”? The dessert plates are without a doubt prepared hours in advance. They applied the coulis in advance because when we got our plates, what appeared to be a raspberry coulis was dry and hard. The table is topped with fake plants. In fact the entire space is filled with nasty old fake plants. The table lamp was dirty with other people’s food. Really folks, for this price and the way they portray themselves these things aren’t acceptable. It’s a mediocre steakhouse. Do yourself a favour and search for another steakhouse in Manila. I’ll save you the troubles.

I’m a foreigner working in the Philippines. I came to this restaurant highly recommended by a friend, but my expectations were shattered. I had an unfortunate experience with my girlfriend that left me truly disappointed. I intended to order a 9 or 10 oz cut of meat based on Jeff’s recommendation. However, he suddenly suggested a packaged meat option with a 30% discount. I fell for that and chose the larger cut, only to find the portion far too much to handle. When it came time to pay, I was shocked to discover that I had actually ordered a 17 oz portion. I expressed my confusion, having ordered based on Jeff’s recommendation, yet he insisted that he was only offering suggestions. I had clearly wanted a size suitable for two people, and it made no sense that he would recommend something so excessive. In the end, I paid the full amount, but the unpleasant experience has left a lasting negative impression. I feel that our time together, which should have been special, was ruined. I want to warn anyone considering visiting this place to be cautious of the staff’s aggressive upselling. Don’t be fooled by their tactics. As a foreigner, this experience is truly disheartening, and I have no intention of returning. Such practices will eventually lead to regret. Ah finally staff name is Jeff , be careful him And my pay 14.000p this is right?? Don’t go here

Celebrated our fourth anniversary here at Melo's last Saturday. Reserved for 8:00 PM but I called and asked if it was fine to go earlier. They were very kind and helpful and agreed. They seated us to a good spot (and even seated the stuffed toy we brought, lol!) and was very accommodating when it comes to food being picked out and answered all of my questions. All the staff greeted us and were very nice -- shoutout to our servers Jeff and Charles (absolute best) who made sure everything is taken care of. We ordered the Promotion for Two with the Angus steak. The food was amazing from the dinner rolls (very smooth bread and butter that melts in your mouth), caesar salad (one of the best I've ever had, the soup on the other hand was okay, we didn't get to finish it, shrimp gambas (absolutely 10/10), the steak (highly recommended, it was very good!), and lastly, the dessert (gelatin)! We also had two glasses of red. They also asked us if we were celebrating anything and when we said it was for an anniversary, they really went all out and gave us free dessert too (mini pie, mini cake, strawberries, and whipped cream + milk). Overall, our bill was worth it! Would definitely go back soon. There also was a smoking area that made the experience excellent overall. Thank you so much for making our anniversary celebration...
