I ran out of data and simply asked if I could connect to their WiFi for one minute—just enough to top up my credits and pay for my meal. The cashier asked the manager, who didn’t even bother to look up properly before saying, “It’s not allowed.”

Look—I get it. Businesses can refuse access. But seriously? For a ₱400 salad? You can’t spare sixty seconds of internet access so a paying customer can actually complete a transaction?

It’s laughable. I wasn’t there to squat, scroll, or steal bandwidth. I just wanted to give you money. But instead, I got hit with rigid policy over basic human logic.

Upon placing my order, we had to line up for around 15 minutes just to pay. Cashier was clearly struggling to process all the payments but none of the other staff members were helping her out.
