Bierhalle Esplanada — Restaurant in Łódź

Very disappointed with this restaurant. A lot of menu items were not available, so we settled on sausage with fries and pork chop with potatoes, we also ordered a sauerkraut salad and a bottle of Riesling. The wine was served warm, and it was an 8% proof wine, kind of low for wine and it being warm it was not drinkable. The potatoes were half cooked so I asked to have it replaced with fries which did not even come salted. The sauerkraut salad came in a form of a warm sauerkraut and was extremely salty. I complained to the manager and asked to have the wine taken off the bill and a discount for food, he offered 30% off the bill which was not adequate to the horrible experience. The third spot I visited and stayed for a few beers and some food too was a German style beer tavern called @bierhalle_esplanada -- just check out their page for all the delicious foods and liquid threats available...

The beer of the day was :

Marcowe ( 5.8 % ABV ) a Marzen style ( Oktoberfest style ) beer and it's a great example of it too -- amber coloured, super drinkable ale with flavours of malt and hops and touch of carmel too and well as nice bitter finish

True to German purity law ( Reinheitsgebot ) brewed only with 4 ingredients...

This place is open til 1 am and serving food till midnight 😮

The beer at this establishment is decent, the service on the other-hand is disappointing to put it kindly. I ordered the “Crispy This or That” which was supposed to include 8 different appetizer samplers; when the food arrived the plate only included 4 out of the 8 appetizers advertised. When the server was confronted about this error, they simply told us that they had ran out of the food items advertised, which would not be a problem if we were informed prior to the food being brought out.
