If your willing to wait a long time for your food than Sphinx is the place for you! First of the waiters are very polite however it took them a very long time to even take our order and then another long wait for the food. This wouldn't be a problem if the food tasted fresh but it didn't. Overall the food was ok. The meat was well seasoned and there was a variety of salads which was nice. The fries were quite standard and the naan bread (which I was looking forward too) was very dry and empty. The sauces were great and definetley helping the dryness of the food (which was probably because it wasnt very fresh). The pricing is quite standard for a restaurant of this sort, however I would expect a slightly higher standard...
Read moreWhile I was walking in Piotrkowska I decided to have dinner in a Sphinx restaurant . I have chosen to order regular pork shoarma with mozzarella cheese, salad and rice with 3 different dips . The waiting time was around 15 minutes ( all other tables were taken so it was busy in general ). The service was excellent and polite . The food was served on a big plate , nicely presented . The meat was excellently done , so was rice and 3 different salads . Portions were a good size for a regular meal, looked pleasant for the eye and tasted wonderful. I have no complaints except for the price which could be a little lower or at least the hot drinks could be free with a meal . All in all , a good restaurant...

Main course I asked for steak and for it to be medium-well done. Came out like it had just been cut off the cow and cooked for 20 seconds on each side. Chips were cold and were sent back and it's like they just re-dipped the chips for a few seconds. My friends steak was just all fat and no meat. On another note my other friends food was lovely. He had shorma deluxe and he said it was really good. If you decide to go there I would strongly recommend not to...
