Whiskey in the Jar — Restaurant in Łódź

The service is terrible. It is just utterly unacceptable to begin with I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for my food from the moment I ordered. At one moment the waitress came over to a table nearby and i asked her why is it taking so long to prepare she says the meal you ordered which was a chicken breast is the longest meal to prepare however when I worked in a resturant chicken breast took max 20min to prepare and cook.Eventually the waitress comes over and tells me that my food will be ready in 2 minutes as the tables that sat down after me got a 3 course meal before me. Furthermore the waitress took a full ashtray of the table after seeing me use it and asks if she can take it away and bring it back I say yes I did not receive an empty ashtray as if she forgot. In addition I told her I feel the service is unacceptable the waitress offers me a drink on the house instead of bringing me a drink that I have been drinking all night long she brings me a shot and says it's on the house. I suggested this to her and she said she can bring me a dessert as a substitute I did not receive the dessert or she can reduce the cost of one of my drinks she did no any of this.To sum up the whole night I asked for the manager the manager comes over and says she's sorry for the service but there's nothing she can do about it as it's already been put through the till. The only reason I gave 1 star is because I can't give -5 stars. I HIGHLY DON'T RECOMEND THIS...

Whiskey in the Jar left me dissatisfied and angry. While the drinks were good (apart from the dirt/small black bugs on our mint and exorbitant amount of ice), and the atmosphere is probably wonderful on a Friday night, the food and service is SEVERELY lacking. When we walked in and asked the bar man if we needed to wait for a waitress or just sit down, he told us he didn't know, he is just a bar man. I brushed it off because I was looking forward to a delicious tender steak, but that should have been my first clue to go elsewhere. Our "medium" steaks came out beyond well done and better compared to shoe leather. The only redeeming part of the meal were the side of beets with feta, which I must say were delicious. Our waitress didn't have any sense of urgency and we sat for a good 15 minutes with a cleared table and empty glasses, attempting to get her attention, only to be ignored. Finally we received our bill, settled up, and got the hell out of dodge. We won't be coming back. Whiskey in the Jar, you may be a cool place to go on a Friday night and drink, but don't brag about your preparation of steaks if you do not plan...

So…today was all about wrapping up the day with a killer burger and let say… a cocktail;) I was craving somethiing quick and delicious. Here in Lodz, options are a bit limited :/ but Whisky seemed to have the buzz, so let's give it a shot:)) The place was buzzing, the menu was lit with all sorts of cool and interesting options (and it's all eco-electroniic)!! The burger was legit:D giving off those American vibes and served up real nice!! But man, the wait for it felt like forever.... luckiily, the young crew hustled to save the day!! Met this awesome dude named Victor who hooked me up wiith my drink in a flash threw in some extra stuff because I had no clue what they were for and suddenly time just flew by.
