British Bialystok regular. Fantastic beer, fair food and 50/50 service.
*I've had to come back to edit my review after another visit. I came alone, no one spoke English. They took 20zl for themselves off my bill and haven't given any change and now they won't come back to my table or acknowledge me. My partner says this place takes advantage of tourists! *
As it's their own brewery, I believe they have done a great job with the range of drinks. I love most of the beers, stout and IPA. I have one left to try. Lovely cocktails for the missus.
I have eaten here 3 times. The bar snacks are great if you've had a few but eaten sober you realise the taste and quality isn't really there. Next visit I'll be trying the Filet mignon.
It is odd to have 2 bars and to use the one as the employee rest. We had no service for 10 minutes one time because they had gathered to joke around on their break with the restaurant staff. These workers deserve to sit down and rest but I think hiding behind a bar on your phone looks bad to diners 10ft away.
The service is consistently so so when I order in English, compared to letting my fiance who is from here talk for us. All 3 times I have spoken they delay in bringing the change as I believe they are expecting me to just leave it all as a tip. This never happens when my partner talks for us.
I will be returning this summer with many friends and family. I do hope it improves with the high season like it did last year.
To sum it up: I recommend it, but don't expect too much from the food and...
Read morePoor service. Visited the restaurant today and many times previously. Prices are very high, food is average, beer is good. Today we ordered some dishes, including a few soups, no bread was given, after the visit I asked a manager why and he said that we should ask the waiter for bread, the bread is free, but they are not giving it to customers by default. No additional plates for kids were proposed, we have asked for them. No napkins provided for us, we took them from the nearest table. We ordered french fries and I asked the waiter for ketchup, because no sauce is given by default. We have been charged for 5 zl for it, but never previously and I asked the manager why? He said it's a new policy that ketchup costs money. After I said that I'm not satisfied with today's visit at all, he said smth like OK, that's how we do. No apologies, no any proposals, no care about customers. Don't recommend the place...
Read moreCame to Bialystok for business meetings and decided in the evening to come here for dinner. First of all it was too loud, with mediocre singer singing to so many people chating. Waiter was so relaxed, disappearing for 10 minutes multiple times. It was very hard to order, and when we ate it was even more difficult to catch him and ask for bill. Howeved food was really nice. Ceaser salad with chicked was really delicious and the size of it was a surprise, it was really generous. Beef carppaccio was also delicious. Surf and turf was nice, but I was disappointed by shrimps, they were just boiled and put there. But fries and vegetables were extremely delicious. Also beef steak was nice.. Overall I recommend it but not on Friday or Saturday evening if you prefer...
