I regret that I have but 5 stars I can grant to this experience. It is definitely an experience, not just a spot to get a drink. My wife and I were sad we only had one evening to visit here. They have given a lot of thought and preparation to both the contents and the publication of the menu - which is a pop-up book organized around a theme. When we visited, the theme was "The Greatest Show" - so a circus motif. They rotate to a new menu theme every 18 months or so - with a new set of drinks created especially for that theme. The drinks are unique, creative, and delicious. The ingredients and the presentation are artistically designed to embody the overall theme. For example, the "Houdini" was served inside a locked wooden box, where I had to find the right key to unlock it - along with other dramatic details. Since Houdini was a Hungarian who performed on tour, the drink included a Hungarian liqueur and was themed as a tour visit in Japan, with a corresponding taste profile and ingredients that were surprising and complex. I won't give more details, so you can enjoy the experience spontaneously on your own. The other drinks we tried all similarly had a well thought-out flavor, texture, theatrical presentation, and a story explained by the server. One even involved lighting the wick of a cannon. One of the best cocktail bars I have ever been to (and I have been to many). Unique creations and creative presentation. Very weloming and warm hearted staff who does not over-/underestimate their abilities. I would encourage the chef to let the bar men experiement with the prescribed recepies even more to preserve this creativity. E.g. how would the ugly duckling taste with mezcal instead of tequila etc. Also what I really liked about that bar is the pickles menu. Many comtemporary bars do not offer bloody mary anymore as they would have to have tomato juice, celery and worcestersauce available. A wonderful Cocktail bar that serves you inside or on a smaller patio outside. The atmosphere and service is great if you’re looking for a immersive experience for custom cocktails with a story behind each one!

Presentation of the cocktails are something you will remember and they are on point. If you’re unsure which one suites your taste , the server will ask what you personally what you prefer to order at different bars or tastes you enjoy and thereby making a recommendation for you. I also like the fact that if you are not happy with your cocktail, the server will make the effort to bring you another free of charge.
