Plejada — Restaurant in Kielce

We visited this restaurant twice, and while the first experience was generally positive, the second one was disappointing enough that we wouldn’t return again.

On our first visit, everything went quite well. The service was timely, the staff were polite, and the overall atmosphere felt welcoming. We ordered the Deska Piwosza (beer snack board), Kotlet Pana Michała, and penne with chanterelle mushrooms (penne z kurkami). The snack board was tasty, with a nice variety of warm and savory bites. The penne, however, was bland and unimpressive, lacking flavor and texture. The kotlet was okay — not bad, but nothing memorable either. Still, based on that visit, we felt comfortable coming back.

Unfortunately, our second visit was a completely different experience. We were seated on the second floor, where it was extremely noisy, and it took a very long time to get any attention from the staff. When we tried to place our order, the first waitress we approached rudely brushed us off with a dismissive “go to the bar,” which was shocking and unpleasant.

The service was disorganized, and we had to wait a long time for food, with dishes arriving at different times for everyone. While some people had already finished their meals, others were still waiting for their soups or main courses. One guest received a main dish but never got the żurek they had ordered, and two people never received their meals at all.

When my żurek finally arrived, it was a major letdown. The broth tasted like it was made on mushroom stock, it had only one tiny piece of sausage and two small pieces of ham, plus a chunk of raw garlic floating in it. One of the bread slices served with the soup was stale and dry.

The Deska Piwosza, which we had enjoyed the day before, was now barely warm, and the chicken wings were so overcooked that the meat was falling off the bone and completely dry. Only the nuggets and cheese bites were still good.

My schabowy cutlet and potatoes were over-fried and burned, leaving them dry and unpleasant to eat. The only real highlight of the evening was the kartkówka, which was flavorful and served with a warm baguette and a fresh salad.

The staff were clearly overwhelmed, and the service was not only slow but also unfriendly. Having to wait so long that guests resorted to calling out just to get attention is not acceptable.

If we had experienced this level of food and service on our first visit, we definitely wouldn’t have come back. Sadly, the lack of consistency, the poor organization, and the unpleasant attitude of the staff turned what could’ve been a nice return visit into a...

Worst restaurant i have ever seen.

I hope the owner of this nice looking restaurant will read this. We were meeting kielce and Where looking for some Food. If we entered this restaurant, it was looking very good from inside, but this is the only positive thing what i can wrigth.

After we take our Place, we saw that the 5 girls which working in the service, where not interested to take the order. So we decided to go to them and Order directly. After 30 Minutes we Even Not Received our Drinks and they ask if we ordered allready. After 1 hour only the the half of the food arrived. (Was cold, because food was allready ready) The Service told us that they will bring no more food because the galley is now clossed. So we received only the half.After this we left the restaurant. The service was completly not aware of what they are doing. None of them had really an idea what she is doing. When I read all the comments it is real problem with the service.

So dear owner of the restaurant, if you want to have in the future people who are not only drinking please do...

Lokal, który odwiedzam dość regularnie, ma swoje mocne strony, ale niestety również sporo mankamentów, które trudno pominąć.

Zacznę od obsługi, która pozostawia wiele do życzenia. Często wydaje się, że personel nie zauważa klientów, nawet gdy ruch jest niewielki. Czas oczekiwania na obsłużenie bywa znacznie dłuższy, niż powinien, co potrafi być irytujące. Rotacja pracowników wydaje się spora, co raczej nie jest dobrym znakiem. Przy płaceniu zdarzają się nieporozumienia, mam wrażenie, że nikt nie ma pełnej kontroli nad sytuacją. Niestety, zdarzyło się także, że rachunek nie był zgodny z zamówieniem, co jest niedopuszczalne.

Jeśli chodzi o jedzenie, tutaj jest zdecydowanie lepiej. Potrawy są smaczne, a czas oczekiwania na dania jest akceptowalny. To jeden z powodów, dla których nadal wracam do tego miejsca.

Sama przestrzeń lokalu niestety wymaga większej uwagi. Tapicerka mebli jest brudna, stoły czasem lepkie, co odbiera przyjemność z wizyty. Szczególnie negatywnie wyróżnia się toaleta męska, która bywa często zaniedbana i nieprzyjemna w użytkowaniu.

Podsumowując, lokal ma potencjał, ale wymaga solidnych zmian w zakresie obsługi klienta i utrzymania czystości. Jedzenie broni tego miejsca, ale na dłuższą metę same smaczne dania mogą nie wystarczyć, by utrzymać stałych gości. Mam nadzieję, że zarządzający wezmą pod uwagę te uwagi i poprawią standardy, bo szkoda byłoby zmarnować potencjał...
