BIM TO BAP — Restaurant in Krakow

The bibimbap tasted sublime 🍲! We ordered the chicken one with poached egg and added miso sauce but tried also a little bit of the gochujang spicy🌶 sauce, which tied all the flavours together and really brought out the umami in the dish. The green tea 🍵 was the G.O.A.T. 🙌 (with real green tea leaves and lemon) and the dessert cookies were so delicious, that we bought a whole box for home 🍪. We had the privilege of meeting one of the co-owners and chat about the tastes of South Korea and other cuisines. He answered all our questions, was a lively host and even offered to take our picture next to the life-size cut-outs of K-pop idols from the BTS band 🫶. Having read some of the reviews saying the new menu isn't authentic bibimbap, I completely disagree. The term bibim means "mixing" and bap is "cooked" rice. Both classic and new menu items offer this.

I tried the new chicken bibimbap and it was very good, just missing an egg which I did not realise nor was told about. I will return to try the classic version.

Ja i moja narzeczona w dniu dzisiejszym postanowiliśmy odwiedzić lokal z koreańskim jedzeniem. Sugerując się pozytywnymi opiniami znajomych,oraz wysokimi ocenami w internecie, wybraliśmy Bim To Bap i nie zawiedliśmy się 👍🏻 Czysty,schludny i przestronny lokal,wygodne kanapy i krzesła,stoliki regularnie przecieranie, odkażane sprawiają że już na wejściu człowiek wie,iż zachowanie są wysokie standardy. Obsługa bardzo miła i chętna aby doradzić. Narzeczona wybrała krewetki, skosztowałem i mimo że nie jestem ich miłośnikiem, byłem miło zaskoczony świetnym ich przyrządzeniem. Ja skorzystałem z nowości,które jak się okazuje, niejednokrotnie pojawiają się w lokalu. Był to kurczak z wieloma dodatkami i sosem który można sobie wybrać spośród kilku,polecono mi do tego jajko,a'la sadzone,i okazało się to strzałem w dziesiątkę. Nie opisuję szczegółowo dania które wybrałem, gdyż wspominane dodatki, częściowo są mi obce. Nie zmienia to jednak faktu, że posiłek był rewelacyjny!! I na pewno nie raz tam wrócimy,tym bardziej że narzeczona swoim wyborem dania była zachwycona. Kupiliśmy także napój,była to lemoniada imbirowa na zimno -petarda.
