What I ordered:
Small pho bo - It was realllllly small. Actually, didn't expect for it to be that small. The flavors were sort of there. Guess it is acceptable for Krakow, lowering the standards but far from perfect. Lack of ingredients: condiments, herbs. Make more herbs, green and yellow onions, more bean sprouts, Would be nice to have hoisin sauce as an option, too. And salt/pepper at every table.
Bun Cha - The flavors of the meat was spot on. The flavors were there. The sauce was great. It could use a little bit more herbs-salad to balance out its portion. Perhaps a version with pieces of cut-up fried springs roll would be a killer.
Aside from that, let's point out the slow customer service. I, along with many others (based on observations), sat down for at least five minutes before they even acknowledged or brought a menu. Simple task but doesn't seem a priority.
Prioritizing cleaning the tables was very slow -- Old customer leaves, new customers walks in with no where to sit resulting in sitting at the table with dirty dishes. I've seen customers sat at dirty tables for at least 10mins before someone even comes to clean it. Staff even walks past and ignores it. Guess it isn't a priority since they got a million things to do.
Again, see the staff constantly doing whatever behind their desk. Pouring drinks, assembling the utensils, however, they need to prioritize customer service first. That means, drop whatever they're doing, attend to customers then go back and finish them.
Been a Vietnamese food lover enthusiast eating it all over the world. Have an eye for what makes the food authentic. Sum it all this place is exceptionally better than any other places in Krakow. But far from perfect. Needs a lot of tweaking and keeping the integrity of the dish.
This place has potential but needs to prioritize their...
Read moreIf you want to be teleported to Vietnam and eat some Vietnamese food then, this is the right place. It's real homemade Vietnamese food, not other Asian food under the name of Vietnam.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and apparently everything is imported from Vietnam. I've ordered spring rolls with chicken and the small size Pho Ga, the meal was filling and the price is very reasonable.
Although the service was a little bit slow but the waitresses will help you immediately if you called them and they are very friendly.
We had dessert made of pineapple leaves and I've never tried something like that in any other restaurant in Krakow. It was very delicious and has a unique taste.
It's highly recommended especially of you are a fan of Vietnamese or basically new...
Read moreProbably the best authentic Vietnamese food I'm going to get on this side of the world. Spent a long time living in Hanoi so I came here for to satisfy my cravings, I wasn't disappointed. I had the bún chả, which was so delicious and balanced. The coconut coffee was also great but not quite as strong as I expected, I think they may do this on purpose to suit Polish tastes. The restaurant is on the more expensive side but they really seem to pay attention to quality in the dishes I saw, definitely worth it. Lastly the deco is just so cosy and totally Vietnamese. For anyone familiar with Vietnam you will be constantly reminded. The floor tiles, the lampshades, the seating... everything is perfect. Cảm ơn...
