What an incredible evening at Noah. This was easily one of the top 10 meals of my life.
From the moment we walked in, service was perfect. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient. We especially appreciated our waiter Konrad who told us all about this new restaurant and gave us some recommendations as we weren’t super familiar with Israeli food.
The food was absolutely incredible. We came in with no expectations as we’d just stumbled on this restaurant whilst walking around the Jewish Quarter, but the food blew us away.
The baked feta is a MUST have, and the roasted eggplant was a surprise of flavours that we didn’t expect but absolutely loved. Pita bread is homemade and delicious, perfectly paired with the hummus with grapes. We also really enjoyed the beef brisket and the deer tartare - though my partner thought the tartare could have done with a bit more seasoning
This is the kind of place where no matter what dish you get, you can’t go wrong. It will be good and it will be fresh and done properly

Read moreAlthough the restaurant itself presented very nicely and the staff were initially very pleasant I have to say that the service ended up being a disappointment. The staff were unnecessarily helicoptering their patrons (us) throughout the meal (which was mediocre to say the least - having had authentic Israeli food on many occasions we found the sharing plates to be quite bland). The most disappointing aspect, however, was the overt shaming of our dining by our server, who rudely asked us if we had not enjoyed our meal because our plates weren’t empty and therefore we must not have enjoyed the meal. The comments on how little we had ordered were also uncalled for and did not motivate us to get more food. One would think that according to current norms and customs that we are past those kinds of comments, however, it seems that we are not. I will not be...

Surprisingly, the lamb kebabs that were recommended from the Michelin wrote up were the least favorite dish. The cinnamon stick presentation left them very dry. Everything else was truly delightful, though.
Aside from some updates to the menus that weren't reflected on the menu on the website and a couple of the wines being unavailable, the selection was really pleasing. Even the richer dishes had fresh and herby components that kept them light and enjoyable.
We also truly enjoyed the local wine and the delightful curated list of post-dinner vodkas. We had both a wildflower and honey vodka and the horseradish and apple one. Both really enjoyable after...
