Extremely family friendly restaurant with impeccable service, great food, well organised. We were celebrating meeting 3 families with small children and the staff was very accomodating with the various wishes of the guests. Nothing was impossible. We shared the selection of antipasta with all of us and it was whamm, right spot on. Next everybody could choose whatever they liked, again no problem, so we had pasta, duck, osso bucco etc. De food was nicely presented on a plate. All very tasty and well prepared. A little hint: we suggest to pre-warm the plates before serving the food. Desert cakes were fabilous, big enogh to share with two. And to finish with real great Italian coffee. The acompaying recommended wines were pleasant. The family celebration was a big success and the food was an important contributing factor. The second factor was the children play corner they have (we were seated next to it). The kids enjoyed themselves a lot. Dear team: thanks a lot for this lovely evening. Highly recommended. P.S. We do not understand why this reastaurant is not listed on TripAdvisor... TripAdvisor is letting us increasingly down and by not listing this excellent restaurant, they proof again how biassed they have become, for whatever reason. The time is close that we abandon that...
Read moreDefinitely the best restaurant in the area. Interior is very modern and cozy, they have mobile flower racks, which they move accordingly to table configuration (that's genius!!! They can shield you from other people if needed). Waiters are very nice and friendly. Free water is a nice touch, which was tasty (that's not that obvious), very good breadstuff with garlic olive oil. The food was really delicious. I had shrimp soup and pork cheeks. Soup was great, but the pork cheeks, oh my, the meat was so tender it dissolved in my mouth without biting or chewing, paired with great puree and sauce- definitely recommended !! Pizza was good, but nothing more, you can get better pizza somewhere else. I'm definitely going back a few times to check other things from the menu next time I'm in Cracov. Aperol Spritz was very good, but it's a simple drink though, nevertheless I'm sure other drinks are great. Important thing- reservation. If you don't want to wait half an hour or more for a table, book a table, especially during weekends!!! There aren't many parking spots alongside the restaurant and in the parking lot, so keep...
Read moreI've been there three times, and it remains my favorite high-end restaurant in Krakow.
And yes, part of it is that you can have a steak without bankrupting yourself, but also the food is amazing, the service very nice and meticulous, and the interior beautiful.
They are one of the very few restaurants that give you a free cup of water and a bit of bread with oil even if you don't order any appetizers. And their desserts are outstanding, tasty and pretty, and quite large - again something other high-end restaurants often skimp on. Their main courses are varied, from steaks to pasta, to chicken, to vege dishes, to pizzas - everyone will find something for themselves.
When I visited with a larger group, it would take a while to get the main courses, but I think that's usual and even desired for company or family celebrations. On the other hand when I visited alone, I was shocked how quickly everything was served (in a good way!)
TL;DR You can eat more, often better, and in great atmosphere for the same or even lower price than in many restaurants in the...
