Muzeum Etnograficzne im. Seweryna Udzieli - Dom Esterki — Attraction in Krakow

I really enjoyed my visit here with my teenage niece. The first floor was especially good with immersive rooms containing fully built out house interiors and covered in handicrafts. I have family in Poland but had not know some of the traditions or that paper craft work was so prevent. I also liked the audio visual displays of the traditions around Christmas. Very nice temporary exhibition showing ethnographic photographs of early 20th century rural Poland. The photos made a lasting impression on us, to see how much times have changed really makes you think about the privileges and obstacles in a modern society. The staff was very nice, too. I do recommend this museum. It's very interesting and some parts are interactive, for example you can peek inside of the traditional polish cottages, mills and so on.
