Ichiban Ramen Shop — Restaurant in Poznan

"SAFE" RAMEN ADDRESS :)

1. FOOD/DRINKS – apologies for 3 star only review, but since I returned from Japan few months ago.. Your Ramen surely could be in my regular menu, full of flavours and taste, awesome Shitake, proper portion - obviously far from being basic (although surprising menu without TOFU in it but CHIPS available instead, as well as place equipped with child seat with no.. child menu).

2. CUSTOMER SERVICE – "our" lady was really doing great as it should, including smile and laugh after my annoying jokes.

3. INTERIOR – do not get me wrong; place is clean and space organised the best way they could, but completely lacking of Japanese or at least general Asian atmosphere and design.

4. PRICE – for the old town location it is totally reasonable and actually similar to the Ramen places outisde...

Not the best one ramen shop in Poznań. They have good vareity of food that is fresh. But the taste is not really impressive — it is just okay.

They brought the meals after 30 minutes of waiting, and it is pretty long for such place. Spicy Edamame are basically fried beans and not spicy at all. Ramens, Miso Soup and Mashroom Mayo, were okay, but looked a bit smaller then you usually get in ramen shop. Also, their limonades look different in compare with pictures.

I d pick this restauran again if I want ramen and other places are full. But, probably, it is better to wait in the queue or take another cuisine to visit.

I came here today for lunch, and had a bowl of ramen and kimchi. The first thing that can be remarked is that they really put some effort into the decoration, to give the place a genuine Japanese feel. So I took kimchi and a bowl of ramen. The kimchi felt really smooth and tasty, with chopped spring onions added on top. For the ramen, I took a creamy one, with minced meat, boiled egg, and vegetables. It was a really tasty one, I definitelly can recommend it. And the staff is very friendly, they make an effort to make the guests feel welcome. And the prices are reasonable for the quality. Overall a positive experience. I will come back, if I go...
