Municipal Gallery Arsenal — Attraction in Poznan

Pros: Free to visit, you only pay if you want to see a special exhibition (photo gallery of a classic sculpture). Very interesting display of drawings on the ground floor and modern art at the first floor.

Cons: Sadly not in English so you might miss the interesting installation about "Syrian lost class" as at the first it looks like a giant metal wall lamp and you have to knee or bend over to see underneath (the instructions are only in Polish). I tried to find an interesting book to buy in the shop, but sadly nothing grabbed my interest. There should be a donation box as I would gladly leave few złoty.

Nie polecam. Warto wiedzieć, że wicedyrektorka jednostki p. Zofia Nierodzińska potrafi atakować fizycznie (zanieczyszczać, bezcześcić) miejsca kultu religijnego, która mają ważne znaczenie religijne i kulturowe dla lokalnej społeczności. Strach pomyśleć, że taka osoba pełni funkcje kierownicze w jednostce kultury (!). Polecam rozejrzeć się /i odwiedzić/ za innymi placówkami, których w Poznaniu nie brakuje.
