Disappointing Experience Despite a Promising Setting.

This restaurant, featured on the Michelin honorable mentions list, boasts a beautiful brick building with a tastefully modern interior, accented by wine bottles that create a sophisticated ambiance. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and it was impressive that the waiters doubled as sommeliers. However, when I requested an earthy, dark red wine and asked for suggestions, they brought a fruity red instead, which missed the mark.

The dining experience was further marred by operational missteps. Between 7:30 and 8:30 PM, staff carried multiple trash bags through the dining area and even brought a 3-meter construction ladder through the same space, which felt highly inappropriate for a fine dining setting.

My wife enjoyed most of her meal, particularly the shrimp pasta, which she found exceptional, and I agreed it was decent. However, her lamb dish was underseasoned and arrived lukewarm. For me, the flavors across the dishes were underwhelming, with nothing particularly memorable. The pate starter was a low point—I was shocked to find a piece of bone in it. The dessert (pictured) was equally disappointing, leaving a sour, buttery aftertaste that lingered for hours. It felt like the chefs were trying too hard to combine too many ingredients, resulting in unbalanced flavors.

To be honest, I am quite disappointed with this restaurant. The food and wine (menu) are really good, but there are some significant flaws in this place. When we arrived (my gf & myself), the place was empty except for one group of 10 people. We had to wait for a full hour until we got our main dishes, which is kinda a big bummer if you are as hungry as we were. So how long would you have to wait if the place was really crowded? I will never find out, as this was the first and last visit there. However, this was unfortunately not the only drawback of our visit. I dont know why but we were pretty neglected by the staff. Being a big wine enthusiast I was really excited about their wines, trying some and buying some Polish wines to take back home. The lack of attention of the staff really killed all my excitement. We got one wine each and no one ever came back to our table to ask if we wanted more. They just took our empty plates and "ran" away. No ask about dessert, no ask about more wine. I actually wanted both but then decided to take neither. I also did not buy any bottles, as they didnt seem to want my money anyway. In the end we waited so long to even pay our bill that we went to the desk to pay. A no-go in my opinion. After all I cannot recommend this place, although it seems to have a lot of potential. I expected a lot more from a said-to-be high-class place like this. Compared to a place like "Bazar" (also Poznan) this one looks...

A last - minute decision to go for some chocolate dessert on the eve of International Woman's Day ♀️ 🙋🏻‍♀️with my Friend, right after her first yoga 🧘🏻‍♀️🧎🏻‍♀️ class, turned out to some unexpected great Fine Dining (!!!) caught in an hour before closing.

We ended up ordering also winter tea and turmeric (kurkuma) infusion for that so-far coldest night of March, and - although weren't even hungry in the first place - two vegetarian s starters for the end of the day.

probably somewhere there I should describe the food itself, but! I noticed the Michelin recommendation at the entrance. As for me - well deserved. ###

Also, the the place itself - raw red of the brick🧱 composed with modern setting giving a feeling of cosiness and comfort. impressive variety of quality wines 🍷🍾 on the drinks menu (and partially - floor to the top on some shelves; I had a thought that even books wouldn't look and fit better).

Oh, did I mention the Service 🤵🏻‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️absolutely stood up of what You'd expect in a place of Quality? I'm glad to notice that You can tip by 💳 card, Not being able to express appreciation for that visit wouldn't feel right, and I'm not sure if I had any cash 💶
