The Ambiance is fantastic, the wait staff are kind and attentive.
The food... Is very inauthentic Korean food.
The biggest offender was the Korean Fried Chicken.
Chicken breast meat in Korean Fried Chicken is the first sin, every ahjumma knows it's supposed to be chicken thighs, just a small change and you'll get way more flavor out of this dish I promise you.
The second was the coating of the chicken. It tasted like they used the same batter as the Korean Corn Dogs, which is its own tier of sin. Flour + starch + seasonings + double fried and you'll get an unmistakable crunch found South of the Korean DMZ.
I got the mild, which was a soy garlic sauce and that was nice. Fix the chicken but the sauce can stay.
I also ordered the bossam which was meh, but I think you'd be better off skipping as it doesn't taste that good.
To the restaurant, I'd recommend switching the item from bossam to just samgyeopsal and serve it on a hot plate with the same banchan.
I'm sad to give this place such a low score but the food being this bad was just too much. I saw pictures on Google with the proper dishware and banchan and I thought for sure this place would be amazing.
It's beautifully designed and decorated well, the vibes are nice so if you're going for a tea or a drink, that's probably best.
I just wouldn't recommend the food IF you like authentic Korean food. If you like Polish versions of other foods, then yes I would say...
Read moreWe visited this Korean restaurant for a second time.
The highlight of our dining experience was undeniably the impeccably seasoned chicken. The chicken was expertly spiced and perfectly cooked. The subtle yet tantalizing heat of the spices added depth to the dish, leaving us craving for more – even though the portions are pretty large 😊
Equally memorable were the beef wraps, a harmonious marriage of tender beef, crisp lettuce, pickled veggies, and fluffy rice. Excellent combination and I will come back for more.
To accompany our meal, we indulged in a selection of exquisite teas. I had marmalade tea, which was pretty sweet for my tasting… but still – it’s a marmalade tea, so you should expect the sweetness 😉
No Korean meal would be complete without the accompaniment of tangy kimchi and pickled vegetables, and this restaurant certainly delivered. The pickles provided the perfect balance of acidity and crunch, complementing the main dishes beautifully.
In conclusion, our dining experience at this Korean restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. With its impeccable cuisine, attentive service, and inviting ambiance, it's a culinary destination worthy of high praise and repeated visits. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an unforgettable taste of authentic Korean flavors.
Oh… and the decoration of the place – is very original and worth to check it out. Especially during warm days, when outdoor dining...
Read moreWhat a lovely surprise and what delicious food. The venue is beautiful, industrial style with nice elements and details in the decor. And there was really good music!!! Staff was just excellent and really nice. I was happy to realize that everyone spoke English. The menu is short but interesting and with a few things to choose for vegetarians. We had lovely dumplings (they were delicious!!) and shared a bibimbap and fried tofu. The tofu dish was spicier than expected, but that was up to my tast, lless to my girlfriend's. We both liked the bibimbap more, though. And the spicy sauce that was served with it, was just perfect! We had ordered too much and were happy to take the rest home with us. I'm still uncomfortable with that, because I'm not used to it in my culture, but it is good service. Also good, btw, that we were charged for the takeaway boxes... Sounds weird, but I mean it. The 0,0% white beer (not wheat, it is white... from the country I'm from) went just perfect with the food. All in all a perfect meal for us, after many hours in the car....
