Paprykarz Fish Market — Restaurant in Szczecin

Please avoid this restaurant if you are visiting this area!!!! It was our last meal on the trip, and although we had even booked the table in advance, the experience was very disappointing.

While the food quality was fairly good, the waitress (Ola Ola) was extremely rude and displayed unacceptable behavior you would never expect as a customer.

When she poured the wine for tasting, I mentioned that it was too acidic. She immediately replied that it couldn’t be changed since the bottle had already been opened, implying that it was simply my problem if I didn’t like it.

At the end of the meal, we politely pointed out that the pasta was undercooked and had very little sauce, offering it as constructive feedback. She bluntly responded that we should have mentioned it earlier. Even worse, when we paid by card, she tore up the receipt, threw it on the table, and walked away without saying thank you or offering any...

Good food and good customer service practice (that's extremely rare in szczecin) went for lunch with my nan and mom celebrating their birthdays. Had tom yum soup and paprykarz to start. Paprykasz was very nice and the soup was too however is worth mentioning that is more of polish twist on tom yum than the authentic thing but tasty nevertheless. All of us went for sturgeon my mom and my nan enjoyed their but me and my husband found that it was to muddy in taste for us and we just couldn't eat it but thankfully we have got it exchanged for salmon that was moist and flavorful. Chilean chardonnay was really tasty. We also got some mussels that weren't actually mussels but clams and they're where a bit on the chewy but we have been warned about it before and still got them out of curiosity, other than the texture the flavour was lovely rich...

This was up to our expectations. We came a family of 5 in different ages, parents plus 10, 15 and 19. And everyone was happy and liked the food. The food feels fresh and tastes delicious. Tuna Tatar was really good and a large portion for a starter, great. The roasted shrimps was really good. And the two pasta dishes also had super good taste incl the prawns in it was worth mention. The salad that came with the food, to my opinion could have a more interesting dressing/taste mixed in, it was slightly boring.
