Never again. For starters, the menu is way too long and totally illegible. The menu is the second thing you can judge a restaurant by, after the personnel greeting. While we didn’t get the latter because all staff were so busy preparing coffees for literally 2 other customers, the former was like a slap on the face. The menu feels like a result of a toddler playing with xerox. Seriously? Is this how you treat your guests? Making them guess ingredients and prices because your “menu” is simply unreadable by a human? Secondly, the decor is not welcoming. I felt like I sat on pillows which were used to wipe the floor just before we arrived. Hopefully didn’t bring any bugs home because I cannot afford to burn all my clothes. We waited for the food over 20 mins with the place being pretty much empty (i.e. nobody else ordered food at the time). While it was not terribly awful, for which I am giving one star, it was extremely average for the price! Avocado was not ripe enough, quail eggs freezer cold and not fresh, quark totally bland. Everything was sprinkled with sesame seeds which I cannot have.. so I had to pick them like a pigeon out of my plate... I wish they say that in the menu but guess what - they don’t. And even if they did - would one be able to read it? To top it all off they will charge you if you fancy milk with your coffee. No, I do t mean some funky oat or almond milk. I mean your regular grocery store cow milk (or at least the one with the cow picture on the box). Prices are also exorbitant. 80 PLN for 2 breakfasts with coffee? Am I missing something or does this restaurant teleport you to Paris to have your bacon croissant for 4 EUR? And finally toilet. Small, disgusting, dirty, lacking paper towels and/or hands drying machine. Never...
Read moreSniadaniownia is one of the oldest breakfast places in Warsaw in Old Mokotów, with few tables outside by the street (new good thing). It’s a good starting point for sightseeing this part of town.
S. lacks the ability to maintain quality and change as the time goes by. Dishes are tasty (but overpriced), the service has been steadily deteriorating over the years.
Indifferent staff, people who don’t even care if or when you’ll get what you ordered. Fresh example: waited for coffee and orange juice for 45 minutes, followed up on the order twice, got the response “coming soon”. In the meantime surrounding tables would get their breakfast order even though ordered 20minutes after our simple request. No apologies from staff once we asked for money back as the coffee never came. Come on Sniadaniownia, you can do so...
Read moreNice cozy breakfast place, a short walk away from the Morskie Oko bus and tram stops. Delicious breakfast options, and healthy too. We went for a 1 pm brunch (family of 4) without reservation, but were able to get a table without any wait. Service was fast. English menus were not available but the staff helped to explain the dishes. The avocado and soy milk smoothie (kocktajle) and the spinach-banana-spirulina smoothie were particularly refreshing. In vege, I tried the shakshouka plate, it was fresh, hot and delicious. English breakfast were very good, and so was the omelette. Quick service too, and cappuccino and latte were served nice and hot. I would give five stars except for the portions being a little small...
